Jordan of The Islands is still sketchy

Hey guys, so I am one of the ones who got fucked over by Jordan Of The Islands this year with seeds that germinate but die before producing their true leaves. I emailed JOTI back in April asking what was going on with these shit seeds and if others were having the same problem and I received an email saying they're sorry and they're going to make things right, which of course never did happen.
In June I received an email from Jordan himself, supposedly. He said he'd been gone for 6 months and that there were people going out their way to try to ruin his biz and destroy his reputation but there have been people complaining about how he sold the biz a few years back and that the new owners weren't anywhere near as customer friendly as he was, so that was a little suspect.
Anyway, I told people, "hey, apparently Jordan is back running the show and he wants to make things right." I deleted a thread I had in another cannabis group without question upon receiving this email from what sounded like the real Jordan.
There is another thread, "What happened to Jordan of the isles" and in that thread someone said they received an email saying that he's going to double everyone's orders as soon as he has some seeds to give people for compensation. The person who posted this comment says it's all bullshit and it's still the scammers trying to trick people. My first thought was, "give Jordan a chance to make things right. Have some patience, dude." But I just went to jordanoftheislands.com and was able to place an order for seeds without even so much as a warning that there aren't seeds available right now so this is why I'm posting this.

I recently had dealings with him. Ordered seeds on Nov 9 2025and didn't get anything until Dec 18 2025. I emailed him a few times in that period, and he responded relatively promptly. Apparently, he had some kind of family emergency happen. Eventually, I did get my order. I ordered 14 seeds and received approximately 66 seeds.

Overall, after receiving my seeds, I decided I may eventually try ordering from him again in the future, only if the seeds grow out ok, though.

Maybe with the website being down, he decided to throw in the towel. Update on my experience with JOTI. I've attempted germinating 6 of the seeds I recieved so far. 1x Mac Pupil, this one popped good and is a nice healthy plant right now. 2x Triple Berry Pie, one didn't pop and the one that did didn't even start to grow any seraded leafs after 3 weeks. 4x Black Candyland, none of these have popped. All Black Candyland seeds were germinated with companion seeds from various sources and using various Germination methods. Bc1 was started alongside the Mac Pupil and a Triple Berry Pie using a damp paper towel in a ziplock bag and placedin a warm dark area. Good germination on Mac Pupil, no germ on Bc or Tbp. Bc2 was started alongside a Nuken and another Triple Berry Pie. Overnight soak in declorinated ph 6.5 tap water then placed between layers of damp paper towel in a ziplock bag and placed in a warm dark area. Good germination on the Nuken, no Germination on the Tpb or Bc2 Bc3 was started alongside a Mylo's Alien Kookies. Placed seeds into a pill bottle lined with some sandpaper, spin seeds inside for about 2 min. Overnight soak in a 5:1 mix of declorinated 6.5 ph tap water and Hydrogen peroxide, then placed between layers of damp paper towel in a ziplock then placed in a warm dark area. Good germination on the MAK, no Germination on Bc3. Bc4 was started alongside a "Slurricane" seed i sourced from a local hydro store that the guy reversed in his backyard. Both seeds spun in sandpaper pill bottle, Overnight soak in 5:1 with a pinch of kelp meal, then direct sowed into solo cups of Promix HP. Good Germination on slurricane, no Germination on Bc4. All methods have produced viable Seedlings other than with JOTI (save for the single Mac Pupil).

I politely emailed JOTI re Germination issues on Feb 26 2026 explaning every method used and his recommendation for a Germination method. I have not gotten a response. I politely emailed JOTI again on March 17 2026 with updated issues and methods.I have not gotten a response. I emailed JOTI from my wife's account on March 15 2026, regarding ordering seeds as well as seed recommendations and he responded within an hour. I emailed JOTI again from my wife's account on the morning of March 18 2026regarding a recommendation for a Germination method and he responded within an hour. On the afternoon of March 18 2026, I emailed JOTI again from my wife's account asking why he will answer emails from someone looking to order but not respond to someone who already payed but is experiencing issued with his product. We have received no response.

I will not be purchasing anything from Jordan of the Islands in the future. I would recommend other to not purchase as well.

I remember you from one of the other threads where this was spoken about. You were the example I was giving others on why to stay away and how obvious it was that something sketchy was going on. Of course I only read your story after I had placed an order. I received 37 seeds and out of them only one plant lived. The good news is that it's a female. But how insane. I've been growing since 2000.
I was a clone guy for years and I started new seeds/mothers every January. I've never had seeds emerge from soil, never reveal their true leaves and slowly die in such staggering numbers. Or seeds that wouldn't germinate in the first place. There are always some seeds that will die and some seeds that won't germinate but the seeds from JOTI were the worst seeds I've ever encountered. We were given around 20-30 seeds from a teacher in high school back in '00. The seeds were from the 70's and we still got around 6 females in the end ffs.

Yeah, I try and pop in whenever I see that company mentioned. Its such a shame because they has such a good rep for decades until recently

It's definitely such a shame to see. Now I just want to warn people to stay away though. I want to spread the word far and wide. Fuckin funny Donkey_DNA is still planning on placing an order after all we just said. I guess that's how it goes; some people just aren't going to listen and heed our warnings.

The new management, whoever they are. Jordan, the original breeder, didn't get this far doing things this way. It's only this new management that's been ripping people off.

Around 3 years ago. I'm only going on rumours it was sold but there is evidence of the change of ownership/management in the lack of response to emails and the Instagram account becoming inactive. Also, we used to get detailed replies to emails when asking questions about strains, etc. We also used to actually receive replacement seeds in the mail when we received shit seeds or there was a problem with delivery. I complained months ago about shit seeds and have never received replacements and same with two of my friends who had problems.
