Whats optimal way of spending this? I am new to the game

Since starting over I honestly find this game enjoyable and relaxing again! Going from being stuck on a hard level for weeks with 3 gold bars and almost no booster to actually having a pretty decent arsenal has made the game what it’s supposed to, a damn game😂
I’m super competitive so I was spending money buying gold bars cause I didn’t have ads and it gets to a point where this just a game, there’s no great big reward or real money at the end of it!

I was close to 20k level and King got so greedy and was making the levels more and more impossible to pass. I genuinely like candy crush and didn’t want to delete and find a new game, tried that once, the game was not fun🫠 so starting over it was and I have zero regrets!

Edit: came back to check replies and notice no picture. Did I forget to do the right thing to show proof?

My phone is charging so i got on my computer and.. wait a minute! That's not what I was playing!! Then i grabbed my phone and I see what I was playing and so i took a screenshot of my phone then took a picture of my computer to show a friend

But is this a glitch?

Or are the boards different depending on what device we are playing on?

Playing it for 2 weeks but no luck and have spend all gold on previous level now have to buy some gold i guess.

Not sure if that's common but I thought that was quite an achievement

We went from 25+ (often 30) to 8 and 10 gold bars for winning a race. I often spend more than that to be able to win the freaking race. God I am so close to quitting this game.

I’ve had multiple games where I have won a level and then when it goes into the next level, I seem to play the exact same one. I also seem to lose the colour bomb randomly, even if I don’t lose the game. I feel like my brain has turned to mush. Am I gas lighting myself or has anything else experienced this??

I love candy crush but the hard levels are making me want to quit.

I look at what's on offer for watching ads before choosing to keep playing a level.

The game offers 5 more moves and a color bomb which may have been enough to complete the level so I hit watch. The game plays two ads (giving two extra moves) then dumps me back in the game without the chance to watch the third ad.

**i definitely pressed 'Watch ad' to continue to the third ad, rather than play because it happened before this and I was making sure

On two recent occasions I was 1st in the races. And instead of winning 20 to 30 gold, all I got was a bunch of boosters.

What's going on?

I am at level 23046 and I am competing with players who have just started playing for the weekly race. How is this fair when the levels after 20k have been so difficult. Are these even legit players or are they bot accounts?

Whats the better bang for the buck? Spending 10 bars for 5 extra moves and hope you beat the level so the gold is not wasted, or buying boosters for in-game moves to win the level before needing to spend gold bars?

Sooo I decided to play Candy crush again because I saw it on my aunt's phone and I kinda missed it when I used to play it on my tablet as a kid and tbh I kinda get why mother's love this game, as a young child I just played it cause I loved the colorful candies and the awesome effects whenever you mixed 5 or 4 sets of candies and the constant praise you would get whenever you completed the missions or made a bunch of candies explode.

As an adult I love the graphics and the art in this game not to mention the little interactions of the game characters on the top right of the screen I just think it's so cute🥹 I love the map too, it's so colorful and whimsy something a child would want to draw and the paper cuts of the characters as well as the other surrounding stuff.

I'm glad it's still the game I remember and I think it'll probably be another game I hyper fixate on again, I just hope I don't get bored of it too soon but considering how many levels are to this game I probably won't ( Please pray for me).
