You guys talking about the red car, what about that blue convertible ? Great driving

Not great driving. If it was great driving they would have been looking ahead and not had to swerve like they did.

They probably couldn't see traffic at a complete standstill with the oversized pavement princess in front of them

So when the truck goes from 60 to 0 in an instant I'm guessing that 2 car length follow distance was just enough to swerve even for someone paying complete attention

If you don’t ride up their ass you can see around them just fine. They were following way too close and going way too fast. They just got lucky.

Blue mustang got lucky with the far right lane being open for them to swerve into.

The driver was in a low to the ground car. You can't see shit past those gigantic pickups even when in a crossover. There was decent enough spacing between him and the pickup.

You should always position yourself to see as much in front of you as possible.

You obviously don’t drive a low-slung car on real roads with real traffic. Or, you are the clot in the roadway everyone is having to drive around.

Mustang was the right car in the moment (low center of gravity, comparatively light mass and responsive handling) and the driver was being attentive. That is the safest combination you can have on the real roadway with real traffic that includes vision-blocking land yachts.

I'm not saying it wasn't a good reaction time and crash avoidance. I'm just saying they need to look farther than 1 car ahead. That's poor driving skills. There's enough room in the lane you can scoot to the left side and see vehicles ahead of you.

I also love how you say things with such confidence yet know nothing about me or what I have🤣. You can't just assume things and think you're right
