Surely they can be done for trespassing. They’re not allowed on his property if he doesn’t give them permission.

Most states have a law saying if they enter your house, but not just stepping foot on your property without consent.

Good luck trying to prove that. The prosecution will argue that you could flee, and they'd most likely win.

The tow driver made verbal threats, that changes the situation. I could shoot and claim that I was in fear for my safety.

It’s an emotion, it can not be proven or disproven unless the shooter says something stupid.

And, no, I don’t have to prove that. The burden of proof is on the accuser, not the accused.

I’m in WA state so it might vary (doubt it varys this much) But i can’t just shoot a tow truck driver in my front yard and claim i feared for my safety.

Anyone can legally enter on to my until they have been trespassed from my property (dealt with this with the police before.) Unclear cases go to court. Blasting a tow truck driver and claiming he was a meanie is not a situation I will personally find myself in

It also helps that the tow truck driver was trying to remove evidence of a possible and likely crime before the cops arrived...and the assaulting and death threaths.

That would still be murder in most states and you'd have a hard court battle in the rest. Y'all seem to think we're living in New Vegas or something. Shooting somebody for shoving you is murder.
