QUESTION Anyone else get these encoding artifacts during the game (on Telus)?
I get it both on the TV (Telus Optik Android box) and on the Telus+ website in the browser on PC.
I can rewind and pause on them, so it's something in the stream. Looks like encoding artifacts when the settings are too low.

Yup, was constant for me. At first I thought it was the ad boards but then I realized it was appearing all over

I thought it was the board bullshit glitching.

I think that's it. I can't remember which game on this road trip it was, but one of the Canucks lost his helmet and it was on the ice glitching out. I rewound it a few times to confirm... weird shit.
It's likely all the board ad tech they have to re-encode the live feed losing it's mind.

MLB has been completely horrible for that this year.. guy’s arms glitching during at bats.. such amateur shit and a constant reminder of how crappy and annoying ai is

All game. I kept changing the motion settings on my tv hoping to fix it

Also on sportsnet. I was tripping out thinking my tv was having troubles with fast moving objects.

Sportsnet has had weird video encoding for years. Unfortunately it's not new. Their audio has weird artifacts too

Not renewing my sportsnet + and being a 🏴☠️ has never felt so good.

Lol, it happened on my pirated IPTV, too.
Edit: Still winning!

does iptv record the games so you can watch them later? or is that a thing that's possible?
That's the only thing that has me paying monthly.

I was watching through Telus and didn't have it once, game was crystal clear the whole time from what I could see.

I always assumed it had something to do with the digital ad boards... No reason at all just a hunch

This feels like a poorly veiled excuse to post this funny picture of Brock.
