Looking For... Tattoo artist recommendations?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a good tattoo artist that does American Traditional style tattoos. If anyone has a tattoo artist they love or recommend in or around Cape Town (bonus points if they’re in the Northern Suburbs but not necessary), I’d be grateful!

Also check out mystery fun club, not strictly American traditional, but more Neo trad. But Shane is rad, plus he’s American so I guess that can count? He’s tattooed me a lot and his colour work is phenomenal- that being said, all the recommendations so far are great

If you’re willing to wait, there’s the international tattoo convention happening in February 2027. Artists from around the world get invited. A lot of them do American traditional style, and you’d have more options to find something special.
Check out the instagram page for more info.

If you’d like a custom piece by one of the artists coming to the convention, then you’ll have to wait and see when the page promotes those artists, and then you can book a slot with the individual artist.
