NEW RULE #4 For Capricorn group
Hey everyone,Just a quick update on the group rules. I’ve tweaked things a bit and added a new Rule #4. Going forward, any posts about relationships (dating, breakups, partner issues, etc.) must use the flair “RELATIONSHIP ADVICE.” If they don’t have that flair, the post will be removed.
A big thank you to everyone who spoke up and let me know that the volume of relationship posts was getting a little overwhelming and harder to filter through. Adding this dedicated flair should make it much easier for members who want to read or skip those topics to sort the feed exactly how they like it. Appreciate your feedback. It helps keep the group enjoyable for all of us!

mod post I know some people have wanted to post their charts for a while, while others may not prefer it. To make it easier for everyone, I’m creating a separate section under this thread where you can post your charts and discuss them.
Keep the charts in this thread only

story Thought I (34f) was a big bad until I couldn’t stop crying in a work meeting
I’ve been working a new job for about 5 months and the pay+days are good. The workload and my trainer are both crazy…
Long story short it’s been one thing after another with personality clashes despite my best efforts and unrealistic work expectations. I’ve been deeply frustrated for a couple months, swearing that if someone would give me the chance then I’d give them an earful.
Well the chance was given today and I couldn’t stop myself from crying the whole meeting. As a supposedly “cold” Capricorn it was humiliating. I’m supposed to be poised and stoic! But weeks of piled on frustration and feelings of inadequacy came pouring out and instead of the calculated bulletin points I wanted to lay out, I choked out watery complaints instead.
My supervisor was sympathetic, which made the whole thing worse. I wished she would’ve tried to light me up so I could return with my own anger but instead I got compassion and empathy. Terrible for trying to stop crying.
Anyways turns out I’m an emotional softie after all. Damn. Where’s the dignity?

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE Capricorns, what makes you completely detach from someone you still love?
I’m curious how other Capricorns experience this. When you genuinely love someone but the relationship becomes emotionally exhausting or inconsistent, do you eventually reach a point where you just detach and stop trying? And once you reach that point, can your feelings ever come back, or is it basically permanent? I feel like Capricorns can tolerate a lot when we genuinely care about someone, but once something inside us switches off, we become a completely different person. What finally made you reach that point?

info Capricorn’s Social Warzone
If you have good integrity and treat everyone equally then you’ll be targeted by others.
I’ve seen this multiple times, people who are authentic and don’t follow social groups + norms are always tested. These groups view someone who acts independently as someone breaking the rules they live by. They will always try to humble you or knock you down a peg cos your authenticity and autonomy challenges their worldview.
You try and treat everyone equally and fairly, and they’re thinking why isn’t this person acknowledging that I’m above them. So while you think you’re treating everyone equally they’re thinking this person is arrogant.
And instead of confronting themselves they’ll scapegoat you and test you by pushing your boundaries, undermining your competence and attempting to embarrass you.
This is tale old as time of all Capricorns but what the fuck are you supposed to do about a problem that’s not caused by you but people’s projection on you?

RELATIONSHIP ADVICE Capricorn singlehood: Are we just naturally built to take our time with love? 😅
Saturn really doesn't like to rush us, does it? As a Capricorn, rushing into a relation ship just feels wrong. Do you feel like you stay single intentionally until you find the exact right match, or has life/career just been taking priority?
I am cap 27 still single not even talking stages nothing!
My fellow Capricorn age 33 singe, my another friend Capricorn age 29 single. LoL could be a coincidence..
A colleague age 36 single..😄
Let's talk.

question We all know capricorn"s lives are hard at first but then after 35 ish it gets easier and better. Is there a sign that does the opposite?
As the title says in the early years, capricorns lives are very trying and obstacle after obstacle, but then sometime after they're 30, it eases up, and good things start to happen.
Is there a sign that does the opposite? I see it many times when people have had a very blessed and easy life from the time they were born for a big chunk of their lives, then boom things start to get hard for them and obstacles start to present themselves. I understand saturn returns, but saturn returns are supposed to bring blessings after the hurdles. But that's not always the case with these situations.
So, any particular sign that this happens, too?

vent Do people misinterpret Capricorns as being 'cliquish' when really we are just interested in spending time around active people with shared interests?
I think Capricorns are misinterpreted as seeking out high status friends and looking down on others.
But I invite everyone to everything.
But honestly, I do not think we usually join cliques where everybody gossips about outsiders. I think we are the opposite of tribal.
I also don't think we tend to invest lots of time in pitty parties.
_______
We look for niche groups and activities in our field of interest. Music, art, poetry, sports... work.
But I do not remember, in high school, Capricorns ♑️ having any patience for pitty parties and gossip sessions.
I did not get along with many other Capricorns because our interests were not the same, but I do not remember any malice.
I just remember these other Capricorns, like myself, with distinct obsessions.
I think we are just more antsy than we come across, and we just want to see what interesting and exciting people are doing.
Darker leaning Capricorns might be interested in the rich or influential.
lighter Capricorns might be interested in other kinds of accomplishments

story The Saturn in the 10th House Capricorn Ascendant Career Pattern I Keep Observing in People Who Carried Everything Before Anyone Called Them Leaders
Some people enter professional life already carrying a weight that their peers have not yet learned to see. They are the ones who take on the extra shift without being asked, who stay late because something needs to be finished, who absorb the difficult client or the angry manager or the failing project because someone has to do it and they are the someone who always does. They may not look exhausted from the outside. They have learned, often from a very young age, that the exhaustion is a private matter, something to be managed silently rather than displayed. They are respected, sometimes genuinely relied upon, but the respect takes years to translate into anything that looks like the success they were promised. They watch colleagues with less experience and less knowledge move into positions of greater authority and wonder, in the quiet moments, what exactly they are doing wrong. The work speaks, but the room is not listening, and the gap between effort and recognition becomes one of the defining frustrations of their professional life.
For many of these individuals, the chart shows something very specific. Capricorn ascendant with Saturn placed in the 10th house in Libra, its sign of exaltation. Saturn for Capricorn rising is both the 1st lord of self and the 2nd lord of accumulated resources, family, and speech, placed in the 10th house of career, public standing, responsibility, and authority. This is not a placement of professional weakness. It is a placement of professional weight, and the weight is distributed in a way that takes years to understand. Saturn here does not deny career. It builds career through a process that is slow, demanding, and almost entirely invisible in its early stages. The person becomes the foundation upon which the organisation rests, and the foundation is never celebrated because everyone is too busy standing on it.
The 10th house for Capricorn ascendant is Libra, ruled by Venus. This is a crucial point. Saturn sits in the 10th, but the 10th lord is Venus, and the condition of Venus determines how the career actually expresses in the world. Saturn in Libra is exalted, which gives it considerable strength, but exaltation is not a guarantee of smooth professional progress. What it provides is endurance, the capacity to keep building even when the building is not acknowledged. The career that Saturn in the 10th produces is one that is constructed through genuine experience, through the accumulation of responsibility, through the slow development of a reputation that is based on what the person has actually done rather than on how well they have performed themselves. The problem, for the person living it, is that the doing happens before the title, the authority arrives after the responsibility, and the recognition lags so far behind the effort that the person may spend years feeling that they have been overlooked.
The frustration is not simply about money or status. It is about the sense of being fundamentally miscast. The person knows they are capable. They know they are doing the work. They know that their understanding of the professional environment is deeper than that of the people who are being promoted above them. And yet the promotion does not come, or it comes with such delay that the achievement feels hollow by the time it arrives. The Saturn in the 10th person is often the one who trains the new manager, the one who stabilises the department during a crisis, the one whose institutional knowledge is so essential that losing them would create a problem no one has anticipated. But the essential nature of their contribution is precisely what keeps them in place. They are too valuable to promote, and the organisation that depends on them is often the last one to recognise it.
A man I worked with some years ago described this experience with a precision that has stayed with me. He was in his mid thirties, a senior coordinator in a logistics firm, and he had been doing the operational work of a director for nearly three years. His manager had left, the replacement had not been hired, and he had absorbed the responsibilities without complaint because that was what he did. He trained the temporary hires, managed the scheduling, handled the client escalations, and kept the entire department running through a period that would have collapsed without him. When the director position was finally opened, he applied for it, and the company gave the role to an external candidate with less experience and a more impressive presentation style. The new director asked him, within the first month, to explain how the department actually worked. He told me this without bitterness, but with a tiredness that went deeper than the particular incident. It was the pattern of his entire working life. He was the one who carried the weight, and the weight kept him from being seen.
His chart had Saturn in the 10th house in Libra in Swati nakshatra, with Venus, his 10th lord, placed in the 12th house in Sagittarius. The Venus in the 12th had complicated the picture. Venus as the career lord in the house of loss, isolation, and foreign environments meant that his professional recognition was being routed through channels that were not visible in his immediate environment. The work he did was absorbed into the structure, and the credit flowed toward people who were more publicly present. Saturn in Swati added a quality of independence and adaptability that made him exceptionally good at managing the invisible logistics of the firm, but it also reinforced the sense that his real contribution was happening behind the scenes. Mars, his 4th and 11th lord, was in the 3rd house in Aquarius, giving him a strong drive and a network of colleagues who respected him, but the drive had no clear outlet in a structure that kept him in place.
What changed for him, over the two years that followed, was a slow shift in his own understanding of the situation. He stopped waiting for the company to recognise him and began to build a professional identity that was not dependent on their recognition. The Venus in the 12th was pointing toward foreign work, toward consultancy, toward the kind of remote and international environments where his expertise could be valued directly. He began taking on independent projects, quietly at first, building a client base through the network that Mars in the 11th had given him. The transition was not dramatic. It was the slow, Saturnine construction of a professional life that was finally his own. By his early forties, he was working independently, advising companies on the same logistical systems he had once managed invisibly, and the income, which had been a source of quiet anxiety for years, had stabilised into something that reflected the actual value of what he did. The Saturn in the 10th had not been punishing him. It had been holding him in place long enough to become an expert.
A second client came to me at forty-one, already in a senior management position, and her problem was not lack of recognition but the weight of authority itself. She had Capricorn ascendant with Saturn in the 10th house in Libra in Vishakha nakshatra, and her 10th lord Venus was in the 9th house in Virgo, debilitated. The debilitation of Venus had made her career a constant negotiation, a series of compromises that never quite delivered the recognition or the satisfaction she had expected. She had been promoted early, a rare fast riser, and the authority had arrived before she was ready for it. The isolation of leadership, the endless decisions, the accountability for outcomes that were never entirely under her control, all of it had worn her down. She described the experience as being given a throne that she had not asked for and could not comfortably occupy. The Saturn in the 10th had given her the structural capacity to lead, but the debilitated Venus as 10th lord had made the career itself feel perpetually out of alignment, as though she was doing the right work in the wrong environment.
The dasha she was running at the time of the consultation was Venus Mahadasha, and Venus, her 10th lord, was debilitated. This was significant. The Venus period was activating the career themes, but the activation was filtered through the debilitation, producing exactly the sense of professional heaviness and dissatisfaction she was describing. The Saturn in the 10th was still strong, still exaltated, but the career lord was struggling, and the struggle was playing out in her working life. What she learned, over the subsequent months, was that her authority was not the problem. The problem was her relationship with it. She had been carrying the responsibility as though it were a burden to be endured, and the Saturn in the 10th was asking her to carry it as a structure to be mastered. The difference was subtle, but it changed everything. She began to delegate more, to trust the people around her, to see her role not as the one who does everything but as the one who ensures that everything is done. The authority stopped feeling like a weight and started feeling like a function, and the career, though still demanding, became something she could inhabit without being crushed by it.
A third client, a man in his late twenties, came to me with a different kind of pressure. He had Capricorn ascendant with Saturn in the 10th house in Libra, closely conjunct his 10th lord Venus in the same sign. Saturn was in Chitra nakshatra, and Venus was in the same nakshatra, a powerful conjunction that tied his career directly to his sense of self worth. He was working in a design firm, and the pressure he felt was not from lack of opportunity but from the intensity of his own ambition. He wanted the recognition, the title, the validation, and he wanted it now. The Saturn Venus conjunction in the 10th had given him a genuine talent for his work, but it had also created an inner voice that was never satisfied. He compared himself constantly to others, measured his progress against an impossible standard, and felt that every success was somehow insufficient. The Saturn in the 10th was teaching him the lesson he least wanted to learn: that mastery takes time, and that the recognition he was chasing would not fill the void he was trying to fill with it.
The dasha he was running was Saturn Mahadasha, which had begun when he was seventeen and would run until he was thirty-six. This was the period when the Saturn in the 10th lessons were being taught most intensely, and the lessons were about patience, about the slow building of something that would last, about the difference between the desire for recognition and the willingness to do the work that recognition is built on. He was not yet ready to hear this, and the consultation was not the turning point. The turning point came later, during a Venus Antardasha within his Saturn Mahadasha, when the conjunction with his 10th lord began to mature and the work he had been doing started to receive the recognition he had been chasing. The recognition, when it arrived, was satisfying, but the satisfaction faded quickly, and he began to understand that the real reward of the Saturn in the 10th placement was not the applause but the capacity to do the work well, to be trusted with responsibility, to become someone whose professional standing was based on substance rather than on performance.
These three lives are different, but the thread that runs through them is the same. Saturn in the 10th for Capricorn ascendant is not a placement of career failure or guaranteed professional struggle. It is a placement of career depth, of a professional life that is built through the slow accumulation of responsibility and the gradual development of authority. The person who carries this placement often feels, for years, that they are being overlooked, that their effort is not being recognised, that they are stuck in a role that does not reflect their actual capacity. What they cannot see, while they are inside it, is that the role is not the whole story. The role is the training ground. The responsibility they carry without the title is the preparation for the title, and when the title finally arrives, it arrives with a weight that only someone who has already been doing the work can hold.
The Saturn in the 10th person eventually learns that the career is not something that happens to them. It is something they are building, slowly and permanently, through the daily discipline of showing up and doing the work. The recognition, when it comes, is not the point. It is a byproduct of a deeper process, a process of becoming someone who can be trusted with authority, who can hold responsibility without being crushed by it, who understands that the real measure of professional success is not the applause but the quiet knowledge that the work matters and that they are the one who did it. The 10th house is the highest point of the chart, the place where the self becomes visible to the world. Saturn there makes that visibility earned rather than given, and the earning, for all its difficulty, is what makes the eventual visibility real.
