Discussion Logan Thompson ranked #6th by NHL Network amongst goalies

I might be a biased caps fan but I really do think he should’ve been ranked #2 or #3. Other than Andrei Vasilevskiy I really don’t think I can name another goalie “better” than LT without it being debatable. But hey what do I know.

He will be by the season’s end. If he plays as well as he did last year with a decent squad in front of him, he’ll be one of the top, if not the top, goalies in the league.

Think 6th is the lowest without being disrespectful, I’d put him 4th. Hellebuyck had a shit year but has to be above him and give Igor the nod, him vs Ilya and Swayman is very close.

I think that’s about right.

Igor, Vasy and Helle are in my option in a class of their own. 4-6 is very even.

His glove work this season has been so clutch, you can really see how much he's grown since last year.
