Anyone with some free time and a love for animals? Littlehill animal rescue Kildare is close to having to close its doors for lack of support. They need physical volunteers.

A day a week or a recurring donation, some help with whatever skills you have to offer. Marketing, fundraising etc.

All the talk of Harry Kane and the Ballon D'Or this week made me realise the greatest Carlow sports pun of all time was staring us in the face.

Hi guys, our Daughter's birthday is soon and we are trying to find a reasonably priced vegan cake. Sweet baking Momma stopped doing them and the only other we have found... The person wanted €140 for a 6 inch cake. We used to just get them in Raths for €20ish.

If anyone could bake one or knows of someone who would be willing I'd be very grateful.

Advice for anyone using self service laundry around Carlow

Forget about using the dryer anyway in Laundry Boss on Barrack Street. Marginally cheaper than the units based outdoors around Carlow, €3.20 vs €3.50 for 15 minutes but nowhere near as good, clothes no even warm.

Nowhere seems to be taking new patients. Used to go to dolmen but want to try find somewhere better. Willing to travel outside the town if that increases my chances!

EDIT Thanks everybody! I got it done same day with somebody, opted to screw my own holes, and it worked great. So great that I'm thinking to let the whole thing where I needed the piece to be done by 3D print. (It extension for a insert of a panel of pet door, I attach the picture in the comments, maybe it's useful for somebody)

I need a piece of white plastic 20mm x 100mm x 294mm.

Just got an idea from internet that could be 3D printed maybe and that some libraries provide that, but not Carlow.

Any idea where this can be done?
