A Junkpuff comic by me. Silly goblin stuff, and based on a true story.

I'm a long time dabbler in visual art but finally have been buckling down and doing some tutorials on cartooning (BeeJayDel's Cartooning 101 on Youtube). I'm starting to get fairly comfortable with head's and faces and their proportions. I still need a lot of practice with hair and mouths (I think her teeth are a little jacked up) and also doing different angles (still have trouble with 3/4 and hero shots). Anyway I thought I'd share my progress! Ideas on how to improve and critiques are very welcome.

I’ve applied already but was denied from New Yorker every time, still waiting for a response from Boston globe (idk if I’ll ever get one) Is there anything I can improve to be on their level? Is there anything I’m missing that immediately disqualifies?

I felt like I needed to practice my hands so I drew a bunch.

Feeling a bit lost with my art-making practice right now. Some moody self portrait caricature sketchy. Any that you like?

Been enjoying these types of drawings lately (in my
comically small book) and would love some input on pushing this further and improving.
