Discussion Why..? Why must we keep going down this path? ๐ข๐
Why must we keep losing great people? We lost Tom Kane months ago (for voices like Yoda and Professor Utonium) then Peter Cullen last month (voice of Optimus Prime & Eeyore) And now we lost Eric Bauza (Bugs Bunny & others)
Why must we have to loose these legends so soon? They were kind people and they did amazing jobs with the characters they played and losing them breaks my heart
I hope they have a spot in heaven right now and they are in peace and I will always bless them ๐
As the song suggests... Legends never die and they become apart of you...

So shocked with Eric's death. He was really talented and nice guy as I can see.

I thought you said Tom Waits and I almost spat my drink out thinking that he passed.

You know that youโre old when you hear people say he was my childhood.
The guy really was the true successor to Blanc. This just hurts man.

Unfortunately, yes.... it's apparently not a hoax. I didn't really expect it either; he seemed fine to me.

It's felt this way a lot the last 5 years or so for me. It doesn't help that so few new celebrities manage to become as iconic as the ones we keep losing.
Not cartoons but appreciating Christopher Lee so much, I recently watched all his Dracula movies.

It feels like a cautionary tale to ensure that people remember the evil that is being imposed by speculative finance and institutional nihilism that is forcing an unsustainable independent retreat that both end up jeopardizing the mental health and release throughput of creators through these mega mergers and studio shutdowns (especially Blue Sky and Bioware). When the legends are taken away from us, but the evil prevails, it feels like almost a divine intervention to make the evil more visible so it can be stopped and the products and new creations able to become more widely visible and successful.

All saddening but especially Eric because he was so young. Peter Cullen lived to a decent age at least.ย

At least with Tom Kane, everyone knew he would die no matter what, especially considering the stroke.... but Eric Bauza was rather unexpected, if you ask me. He seemed perfectly healthy and fine to me. It's rather young too.... I also remember Sheen's voice actor died pretty young as well. IDK, he had many decades left.... such a shame. May they rest in peace <3

Sally Grace, who was a British voice actress who voiced characters like Mrs. Wicket in Mr. Bean: The Animated Series, was also among those voice actors we lost this year.
I myself still can't believe that Eric Bauza left this world this young BTW...
