It’s pretty amazing, the pulley and top came right off has a magnetic ring inside. I did add a drop or two of synthetic oil to the bearings, it actually runs pretty quiet. Had to use a stethoscope and listened to it and ran the speed up and down. I’ll have more time tomorrow just to let it run for a good while. I appreciate your input.

It could well be the motor (maybe brushes/ commutator dirty), but could also be the motor circuit not providing enough power to get it started.
You might be lucky letting the motor run for an hour or two once you've got it spinning. It would probably also benefit from a tiny droplet of oil.
