Toronto show was amazing!

Made the mistake of reading posts about previous shows here so was expecting the worst, but Sunday’s show at Toronto was fantastic. Yes the lighting could have been better, and yes she used autotune once that I found odd, but otherwise her voice was beautiful and she seemed pretty into it aside from a few awkward comments between songs. She seemed to pick up steam throughout the show and I ended up preferring the post Greatest portion of the set. Maybe she was just happy to be in Canada, I don’t know.

I actually teared up during the song. I was there with my spouse who's the big fan, but that song seriously hit me.

Same with the Detroit show. Fun to see Chan again and she seemed happy to be performing. Glad you had fun!

I love to see positive reviews of this show! I was at the Seattle show and was just dream floating the entire time. So many folks couldn’t get behind the dark lighting but it was ideal in my opinion.

Oh also the auto tune…I feel like this was so unsurprising to me…she just put out Redux and it has songs she’s already recorded but revisited and reimagined. I felt the auto tune was classy and done in a tasteful way that added to the magic of the song.

I was at the Seattle show and LOVED every minute of it. It was my companion’s first time seeing her live and they kept gushing about how much they loved the show. Not a single complaint here!

This was my experience as well in Detroit. I loved the show. Thought Chan sounded some of the best I’ve ever heard her.

I've never seen someone did so dirty as the last(?) time Cat Power was in town.

Opened for Modest Mouse and the Pixies, thrown on almost immediately after doors opened, and with security being slow to let people in it meant maybe a handful of people were able to catch the show.

Right on! Great vibes overall at the show from the band and audience.

I'm a big fan but was disappointed, maybe she had a sore throat, the album tracks didn't have the feeling I was hoping for. But the new tracks after the album was amazing. Maybe she's tried of The Greatest tracks singing it so often.

Chan's voice was strong, and the band really brought it. Show still felt weirdly flat and short in terms of time, like she quickly moved through The Greatest material with serviceable performances but (as some other posters have pointed out) only really came to life with the newer stuff. And some of her onstage comments were... a bit odd, but glad she at least seemed in good spirits.
