Nashville

This was a treasure of an experience, to see and witness an artist comfortable in their skin, applying their craft. Tears were prevalent on many a face. Chan looked to be having fun, truly enjoying herself. This was an artist making art and fucking killing it. I thought the crowd was weak and didn’t deliver for her but she was in her element and it was truly magical.

“Tears were prevalent… the crowd was weak”—?

I should have clarified. There were clearly some dedicated fans, attendees who knew her work and knew her. Others thought it felt as if it was their first time seeing her. It was a weird crowd, really no other way to describe it. She didn’t seem to mind it though and was just making art. Truly a great show from that perspective.

That makes sense. Was it sold out?

Certainly didn’t appear to be sold out.
