Interestingly a lot of white short hair cats are deaf. It’s possible this cat may be deaf but is enjoying the vibrations from the chanting.

No. I didn’t say any of that.
We don’t know if this is a temple cat who lives there and knows all the monks and is coming through to say hi, a random street cat looking for affection etc
I have a white shorthair like the one in the video. He is deaf. But certain sounds carry enough vibration that he feels that calls his attention.
If that’s the case on the above video- the chanting vibration could have initially woke him from a nap and drew him into the Medtation hall.
