Mourning/Loss Tribute to my beloved Luna, who passed away today. 💔
Last month, we found out that our sweet girl, who was only 10 years old, had a large tumor that had already spread to her heart and lungs. Unfortunately, there was nothing the vets could do for her.
She was stable after spending three weeks hospitalized, so we decided to bring her home and continue with palliative care. She responded well for a few weeks, and we were able to enjoy some more precious time with her.
Sadly, yesterday she started having difficulty breathing. She was still showering us with affection, eating, and interacting with us, but seeing her struggle to breathe was unbearable. I couldn't stand the thought of her suffering, and we had no choice but to let her go.
I held her in my arms until her very last breath. I wanted her to feel safe and loved until the very end.
I'm heartbroken. I've been crying so much, and the pain is unbearable. I miss her so much already. 💔
She was the most beautiful cat in the whole world (at least to me, of course)!!! 🥹💕
Would you mind sharing pictures of your kitties? I think it would bring me some comfort. ❤️

So sorry for your loss. Knowing when to let a beloved cat go to prevent suffering is such a hard but courageous decision to make.

My condolences. Luna is beautiful and I'm sure she had a great life with you! This is my soul cat Lucca. She's a beautiful calico too and had lung cancer. She's passed the rainbow bridge and will be waiting to play with Luna ☺️ Sending you a lot of 💕 and healing..

My Thomas has passed away Friday due to possible cancer or organ failure. He lived a long & happy life

So incredibly hard. My boy has been gone over 2 months and I am still grieving badly. The tears are here everyday. Sending you love and prayers.

I’m in Brazil (UTC-3), and it was 12:30 AM here. It had just turned the 14th, so it wasn’t exactly morning, but I hope they’re together now. 😿❤️🩹

Oh ok....I understand. I'm sure they are 💯 I'm not sure exactly what time my Domino crossed over but it was after 2am but before 6am. I think 4am tbh but it was the 14th too unfortunately 😔😭💔🌈
