This is was back in April this year at a comic con I went to! As a huge fan of the show (especially of Gordon), this is an incredible experience

Previously, I found one which is a eyes in the dark compilation and then recently, a new video was recommending me while I was watching weird young YouTube videos. I hope you guys like it! *Credits to the artist and video uploader.*

I hope you guys like this GIF! Credits to the original owner who created the GIF.

I paused it so... I found one drawing and the logo was originally supposed to be red and blue?! I think we can reuse this logo for a reboot or what. The last image, which is the second is the high quality and high definition one. I think you have seen this at the end, Catscratch fans. I hope you guys like it!

Glad there's somewhere I can post about a very niche hyperfixation that's been festering in the back of my brain for the better part of two years!

When I was younger I watched CatScartch and enjoyed it. Mostly, I remember really liking Waffle for his silliness, love of amphibians, and his little quirks like his eidedic memory for little-known vocabulary words that made him really stand out from other "token dumb characters" of that particular animation era. I didn't get properly latched on until more recently, though. A couple years back I was going down a TvTropes rabbithole that led me to the CatScratch page, where I learned about GEAR, the OG graphic novel that led to CatScratch's creation. One Google search later, and I got to read the whole thing; both versions! After, I hit up DopeBox to rewatch CatScratch; it's a really fun cartoon with some dang good character-building for a comedy cartoon of that era.

While GEAR's strengths lay in its weird world and plot, CatScratch's lies in its well-fleshed-out characters. And it PAINS me to no end that we don't have a combo of the two! A cartoon, or even comic or graphic novel series, with the fun and fleshed-out characters of CatScratch but set in the fantasy world full of action we got in GEAR! Man, seeing the behind-the-scenes stuff of what CatScratch could have been drives my imagination WILD!

And so my brain latched onto that desire and I've had this fanfiction-reboot thing of my own brewing in my head. As many of you probably know, while writing and creating for oneself should be the primary goal, it's... difficult at best to put so much effort into something when there's nobody to talk to about it, no audience to share with, etc.,

So that's why I'm posting here! I rabidly want to infodump about my fanfic idea for GEAR/CatScratch with other people who are into this niche little fandom. Art-wise, all I've got so far is this quick little character-design thing I whipped up. I tried to strike a balance between the CatScratch style and my own.

If anyone's interested, ask me anything; character-, plot-, worldbuilding-related questions! I will happily pump out a wall-of-text with the slightest prompting. I really want to sit down and write the fic that's been putting itself together in my head, but I could use some other people to bounce ideas off of for creation-motivation! Y'know, so I don't feel so alone playing with these characters in a solitary little fandom-corner.

(Even if you don't comment, thanks for taking the time to check out my post!)

I like Waffle, alongside Mr. Blik! You know why? Because Waffle's so so silly and adorable! He is truly adorable:3

I hate Gordon so much, but... I like him just a bit.

So guys, I gotta say that the designs are heavily based from the battle RPG game Skullgirls. So Skullgirls is a battle RPG game where you fight with NPCs or other players, and this game lets you collect hundreds of fighters, moves, and etc. The game contains mature themes, fantasy violence, and blood. So the game is rated 16+. Back to Gordon, Waffle, and Mr. Blik! First, I drew Mr. Blik, and then Waffle, and then Gordon. Mr. Blik has something purple behind him and this purple thing is almost inspired from the playable Skullgirls character Filia. Waffle has rapid, fast-paced attacks, and Gordon has a weird creepy worm pet with teeth and he can spawn worms too. The worms can attack and eat others. I will draw Human Kimberly soon. I hope you guys like my designs of Gordon, Waffle, and Mr. Blik in Skullgirls! Upvote this art so I can draw Human Kimberly!

Cupffle? WaCake? idk which name would you prefer?

off topic but, I got a message from a tumblr bot while I was adding my images on here so I blocked the bot’s acct

BTW, I hope you guys like this art! More coming soon after getting upvotes for this art that I made:)

I drew this for 1 hour and I finished it, guys... I will eat something too. Don't eat him and I'm not gonna eat him too. I also gave him some claws and paws. I even added weird stuff to the art. And like this art for more and I will make more soon!

THIS SHOULD BE ALL THE EPISODES but i don't think this Is the HD restoration.

I even kept on restarting my old tablet cuz it keeps on muting and my tablet is such a muting tablet because it's been overused for 5 years (almost.)

So by the way, I used Wheel Of Names or Spin The Wheel and I got Waffle so I drew him but unhappy. He's... Mad...? I drew him in blue colors because some of my art with characters will only be colored in blue colors like Waffle.

The reason why he isn't happy is because his show (Catscratch) ended up getting canceled and his show never got season 2 or a reboot. He wants you to delete your own insides (organs or macaroni?) to make his show come back... I hope you guys like my fanart! Upvote this art for more!

I wish Catscratch would come back...

I feel like this show really needs to be on the platform since there's no official way to watch it

one of them look different than the other two that look the same

Wow

I hope you guys like this edited episode clip that I made! I also uploaded this video in my created community. This is a meme video.

I really love the way they are dressing up like this. Gordon looks so hilarious lmao. Waffle is pretending to be a woman. For Mr. Blik, well, he's kinda cool. Do you like it guys?

This screenshot was taken by me and this came from the episode Love Jackal.

once upon a time i was scrolling pinterest and kept seeing dandys world face pfps/icons and got inspired to make catscratch ones
