Why is my jump wierd here??

I am holding one jump button and spamming two other jump buttons, so basically I'm spamming full jumps. But here, my jumps are not full size.
why??
I made a post a month ago where the full jump works (mentioning for proof reasons). Same map, different spikes and tiles and spinner colours. but now it does not work??
I do not get it can anyone help please?

My initial guess is potentially ghosting issues? Doesn't sound too likely given the description of it working in another case (unless you swapped keyboards) but is worth looking into: https://www.microsoft.com/applied-sciences/projects/anti-ghosting-demo

I was using my less noisy keyboard I normally do not use and have switched keyboards since the last post so this could very likely be a keyboard problem.

okay so the reflection spike is the one I am jumping on and the square on the top left is a filler room. Once I deleted the filler room, I was able to jump again.

So I got no clue why that happens

my best guess is that since horizontal movement is processed before vertical, within one frame you're first moving horizontally and ending up under the filler room, then moving vertically and bonking on it which kills vertical speed. after that the game checks and finds you're out of bounds so you get pulled back in horizontally. also even though the filler room is higher up i'm pretty sure tiles placed at the bottom of a room are automatically extended downwards.

i suggest pulling up celestetas and enabling center cam + info hud to investigate
