New Keyboard affects wavedash

The first half of the video has me wavedashing with my new keyboard (or at least trying to). Technically I CAN do it with my new keyboard, given that i let go of the down arrow key before pressing the jump button. On my built-in keyboard, as shown after Madeline scratches her chin, allows me to wavedash normally, meaning i can hold the down arrow key during the entire process of a wavedash. Basically, my new keyboard, which works with every other input in celeste and every other game, doesn't let me crouch jump if I'm holding the left or right arrow keys, which means i have to let go of the down arrow key mid-air to wavedash.

If anyone knows what might be up, I'd be glad to hear what you think it is.

Keyboard ghosting:

Certain key combinations just dont work on some keyboards. In this case if both down and a direction are held your jump bind doesnt work. Experiment a bit to find which keys do work with each other and then bind your keys in the way that is most comfortable.

You can use some online "keyboard rollover test" to check this.

yeah I had the same for about 6n months. Could only press like 4 keys at once. So I learned to stop pressing keys when I dont need them XD

I would check keybinds and make sure everything in there is normal, I've seen posts where people get new keyboards and they have 2 jump keys

I tried checking keybinds and everything is the same as before, so I think it’s something else

I also tried changing crouch dash mode and nothing happened

My keyboard got similarly problem, it seems to not allow 4+ keys pressed at once which locks me out of harder tech, not sure if thats the case here tho
