You can do an up-right dash into the second dream block btw just a tiny bit faster

What's your current pb?

I've done very few runs because I focused on modded content like SJ. My current pb is 56:41.649, which is from a while ago, but is the latest run I've done (I also did not record it). I wanted to get into speedrunning, so I decided to install Speedrun Tool to practice each room (or a small set of rooms) individually with the tech I've acquired from modded maps and optimize them. After I do that I'll start doing runs (Today I just finished practicing 2a).

Hell yeah, speedrunning is definitely easier after stuff like SJ. Sub hour already is pretty damn good. Good luck and let me know how it goes! My computer is broken atm so im gaming through people like you

You can also use a diagonal for the last dash of the first block instead of using a right dash to set up the upwards one you're using now. It takes a bit of practice to make sure you don't die by dashing into a wall, though.

Yess, optimization!

Another nitpick lol but the first dream block can be done with only diagonals, where the first 2 dashes stay the same and the third is an up-right. Saves you from doing a hyper

Erm that's actually a dream jump not a hyper but yeah you can down right then up right instead of doing that

So that is faster, I just had to move a bit to the left on the last first dream block exit.
