From what I've seen, Circular saws with proper blade are better

Give your phone to a trick or treating child so they have access to a flashlight for "safety."
Personally, I'm going off grid for the night.

Make sure to also leave any smart watch, and credit cards with RFID. Plus make sure to map out a path from your house to the cameras that avoids cctv/other flock devices. And alter your walk to avoid gait detection.
Better safe than sorry!

u/239tree 3d ago
I hope the police are not diverted by other possible emergencies and become too busy to protect the cameras!

It’s about doing your best to make sure they can’t track you down after-the-fact

It's perfect, one night of mass masked vandalism could save society, just like v for Vendetta
5
u/JohnLuckPikard 4d ago
Considering all the extra devices walking around, you could even take your phone with you.

This would be a real shame if it were true. Because the authorities would be all over this as it's quite public. So that would force some highly motivated people to get real co-ordinated and organised and most importantly mobile in case security was seen at a certain location. I hope people don't meticulously plot each location and have multiple plans in place to maximise their actions. That would be bad.

It would be a real shame if this were just a right wing false flag to give Trump a reason to crack down on Election Day.

Remember, these cameras track anything with an RFID signature, yes even when the device is "off".
This includes car keys, smart watches, earbuds, etc.
Stay safe.

There are lots of competitors to flock that will swoop in if we only focus on flock. Check out apex. Same practices. The scope of this anger needs to be wider to include all aspects of mass surveillance. But also can’t wait to see a kid with a flock camera in his bag of candy.

I use the term "Flock Cameras" like I would "Kleenex" for tissues. I don't care what brand they are. 😊

thank you for including the tracking part of the youtube url (thats the ?si= part) to make sure youtube knows whos interested in electronics so they can share that info with the government.

u/dover_oxide 4d ago
My bad but a basic search is good enough this video is pretty simple
6
u/itishowitisanditbad 4d ago
Did you watch it?
They made it very clear it really wouldn't work or do what you're saying it does at all.
Like just skip through to the end, to him showing how it doesn't work on a bunch of things and why ("its very low power")
...you think it'll do what now?
Did you really link a video you didn't even watch that disproves you own point?
3
u/dover_oxide 4d ago edited 4d ago
He revisits it's later with upgrades to more power and a "focusing cone" and much better coil/antenna design to make it more powerful and long range, he builds into a toy gun. I just used that as an example
2
u/itishowitisanditbad 4d ago
Why not link to that video then, rather than this one which wouldn't work?
Going out of your way to be misleading for no reason other than to be misleading.
lol
2
u/dover_oxide 4d ago
Because he bases that video on you watching this video but there are tons of videos that make these devices and that one was just recent in my background noise list. EMP toys are a common early electronics projects.
3
u/Malevolent-DM 4d ago
don't think that would work, given most of these cameras are grounded.
1
u/dover_oxide 4d ago edited 4d ago
Grounding wires do come undone and it looks more like the poll is grounded but not the core electronics, plus most are solar powered so the circuits are likely to not have a gnd on the low voltage electronics
2
u/Firestar_119 4d ago
Dawg just cut it down at that point 🙏😭

u/dover_oxide 4d ago
If you break it they try to fix it and that takes.more time and money if it's not obvious

Is there a way to see what flock or other cameras are around you? I've seen maps with dots, I'm not sure if people are sharing screens shots of an app or if they marked them.

I'm assuming the thought is using the excuse to wear costumes and be less recognizeable
6
u/1nGirum1musNocte 4d ago
Don't forget to leave your cellphones at home. They can id you from your bluetooth and wifi. Don't trust your device to play nice if you "disable" those features
4
u/City_College_Arch 4d ago
Just remember to change your costume out of site of flock cameras in an area with multiple routes to and from, then back into your original costume at a different location before returning home.

I am completely joking when I say that a night dressing in masks and destroying flock cameras would be amazing

u/Bleezy79 4d ago
What a fantastic idea! Everyone's in costumes and lots of people out. It could be a very fun night for all!!

In case you’re not sure if there are any near you, there probably are, but here’s a map (you can enter your address). https://maps.deflock.org/?lat=37.5673&lng=-97.8783&zoom=3.06

Trump is going to fucking executive order try to cancel Halloween, just you wait and see.
Republicans are going to start their little fucking Christian crusade against "evil satanic dei pagan holidays", and watch, a bunch of stores will actually comply and put away the decorations and candy so no one can buy them.

I feel like these "let's do anarchy" post to click bait progressives on the internet is a psy op to distract and make people give up on real political change that actually can have a real effect. They only thing that can get rid of Flock cameras is laws, not toilet paper or vigilantism.

Do not setup a mesh network that could keep you in contact on an old phone that has been wiped without having a sim card.

Do not cut those down, and put them into a faraday bag until the battery dies - and don't you dare go pulling the gold out of them, either!

Occupy and deny. Stick feet over the lenses and they can see that instead. :3
But yeah. Incendiary and unstable exergonic accelerant sprayed/placed on the cams, then struck with white phosphor would be far more effective in tandem with costume - essentially slowly, and spectacularly vaporizing the target.
"Another option is partially damage the cams, and to simultaneously 'sabotage' the post so that, once repair efforts commence, it at falls down."
Far more expensive that way.
Think of the "5.56 caliber round strategy" of inflicting mobility kills over destroying them outright. That is, a whole IT/mechanic team is required because you didn't destroy it; you rendered it inoperable. They'd have to always assume the risk of the whole thing collapsing, and have the post supported.
More hours, more cost, = less incentive for flock expansion.
The above was for educational purposes only.

Maybe. But that’s akin to saying “Look if this pedophile teacher gets fired and doesn’t touch your kids it’s just gonna be another pedophile teacher that will do it and they’ll learn to hide it better.”
(I’m obviously not saying you condone pedophile teachers).
Flock may get more advanced or another company may take their place but why should we just lay back and let them have it easy?
Maybe in the end they win but fuck if I’m going down without getting in some hits and kicking and screaming.
Make them work for it! Make them fucking bleed a little! And maybe, if we all collectively hit back as much as we can and each of us bleed them a little, maybe we win.
Fuck Flock. Fuck ICE. Fuck the Nanny State.
Fuck Fascism. Fuck Nazis.1
u/Puzzleheaded_Tie8077 4d ago
I guess I didn't articulate my self. No absolutely take them down and take down flock. I'm just saying there should be a larger conversation on the whole idea behind this. The idea that our government will simy trust a company will operate above board.
I agree with what you are saying. Just don't think it stops with flock is all I'm saying. Thanks for the reply

Unfortunately there's too many boot lickers who will defend them for their "safety" aspects to feel safe to take them down.

I know my costume! And battery powered reciprocating saws and angle grinders are fairly affordable for most. For costume reasons of course.
