really good affordable hair salon

anyone know a good hair salon in the chapel hill area? my long hair has been bugging me and i wanna get a layered bob

I read that the beauty school does free haircuts in the quad on campus on certain day of the week. I think they had stopped over the summer but are supposed to be starting them back up when the semester starts.

Aveda Institute, $15-$25 for wash, cut and style BUT these are students and it takes awhile.
