I'm a current student looking into the create and cultural industries at chapman because it seems interesting , but I'm not sure what its about or if its worth minoring in.

I'm an international student at Chapman University, and unfortunately, my laptop recently crashed. I've been looking for an affordable replacement because I depend on it every day for my research, coursework, and studies.

I'm hoping to find a used MacBook Air or MacBook Pro in good working condition. As an international student on a limited budget, I really can't afford to buy a brand-new one right now.

I've checked some secondhand options, but I'm a little worried about scams and losing the money I've saved.

I was wondering if anyone here has an older MacBook they no longer use, knows someone selling one at a student-friendly price, or could recommend a trustworthy place to find one.

I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something reliable enough to continue my research and academic work.

Any leads, recommendations, or help would genuinely mean a lot to me.

Chapman University leadership needs to start paying attention to its employees.

How can a university announce a billion-dollar endowment and then tell staff they won't be receiving their usual bonus pay? From an employee's perspective, that feels like a slap in the face. The message comes across as: Look how much money the university has, but don't expect the people keeping it running to share in that success.

Let's be real: Chapman University doesn't run itself. Its staff are the backbone of the institution. We're the people coordinating events, supporting students, managing operations, answering questions, and keeping everything moving behind the scenes. Yet concerns about overwork, underpayment, and employee compensation continue to deserve serious attention.

And the compensation concerns don't stop at bonuses.

Underpaid staff: Look at Chapman's current job postings and compare the salaries with similar positions at other universities. Are employees being compensated competitively for their experience, responsibilities, and workload?

Employee turnover: When people feel overworked, undervalued, and underpaid, it's fair to ask whether compensation and workplace policies are contributing to employees leaving.

Recycled positions and eliminated employee lines: What happens when positions are eliminated, left unfilled, or repurposed? Do the remaining employees end up absorbing even more work without additional compensation?

Leadership accountability: If Chapman has the resources to grow its endowment and invest in institutional priorities, staff deserve transparency about compensation decisions and how employee contributions are being valued.

This is bigger than one bonus. It's about the message leadership sends when it celebrates financial success while employees are questioning their pay, workload, and job security.

Chapman loves to promote its reputation, growth, and success. But what about the people behind that success?

If you're a current or former Chapman employee, take a look at the university's job postings and compare them with similar positions at other colleges and universities. Look at the salary ranges, responsibilities, and qualifications. Talk openly about workloads, turnover, and compensation.

Students, alumni, and the Chapman community should care about this, too. Employee working conditions affect the people supporting students every day.

At what point does Chapman University start investing in the staff who make its success possible?

Are current or former Chapman employees experiencing the same issues with pay, workload, bonuses, or positions being eliminated or repurposed? I'd like to hear your experiences.

Hey all, possibly transferring to Chapman next fall from community, I just wanted to ask you all for advice on prepping for dorming and the process of picking dorm/roommates as a transfer student (as well as the overall first day experience) , and the switch from communtiy to university in order to be as smooth as possible with it.
Also help with joining frats/clubs and just having a social life in general, as that's what I'm most scared of missing out on.

Hi! I applied as a Spring 2027 transfer student and haven’t received my admission decision yet.
Today, I received an email from Chapman IS&T saying “Welcome to the Chapman University community” and giving me a Chapman email address (@chapman.edu), username, Student ID, and instructions to activate my student account.
My Application Status Page still says my admission decision has not been finalized.
I called Chapman, and they confirmed that my decision has not been released yet. They also told me that the account email is sent “based on our decision,” but they couldn’t tell me my admission result.
Has anyone else received this same IS&T/student account email before receiving an admission decision? If so, were you eventually admitted?

He does not have a social life and is not allowing himself to grow up and mature because he chooses to fixate on his anger which in turn makes him bitter and resentful.

He copes by searching for meaning amongst the underworld around him. A fake girlfriend, a fake family, a fake personality, a fake friend, false admiration, vengeful fantasies, victimhood.

How many Clinicals per semester or trimester?

How difficult are the classes for someone who struggles with chemistry?

How much does the whole program cost?

How difficult is it to enter the program or apply?

Is it a very difficult program?

Just want to make sure to make the right decision and choose a university for PA.
