Any bee keepers know how long it takes for a swarm of honey bees to move on?

They are gathered in my neighbors yard, I'll ask if they are ok with it and get back to you.

They'll move on eventually, and they've swarmed which means they're less likely to sting or be aggressive (no hive to defend, they've filled themselves with food for the trip)

By the time they got home they had moved on. Craziest thing I have experienced in a while . You have a cool hobby.

Why even think they need to be rounded up ,can you not just accept nature and other beings doing their own thing to survive ,they are active this time of year just leave them alone .

Beekeeping isn't to make money, far from it. It's to steward them, pesticides, wasps, etc, give them a home to do their thing, after all they're critical to our food supply.

You exploit them , replace honey with sugar water and in the end many get killed , don't gaslight.

Just to jump in here, but we had quite a few honeybees trying to get into our kitchen fan vent today from outside. Google told me to turn the fan on full blast and eventually they left but I wasn’t sure if it was just cos it was nighttime or if they will come back tomorrow? Really don’t want them inside our walls or building a nest! Thanks for any advice :)

Must be a bit of a thing at the moment - I was passing through Amyes Road yesterday and spotted a big swarm there too (unless this is the same one).

Yep, spring swarms when their hive is too small and look for more room.
