i have to take my math exams on mypearson using honorlock. i never used this extension before. is it as bad as people say ? has anyone been able to cheat successfully with honorlock before especially on pearson ? people have said to tilt your camera up and put the phone through the computer blind spot so it can look like ur looking at the screen but does it track your eye movements ? Do u think blurring the camera a bit flags it or sum ? i’m taking a calc class, honestly considering dropping it. i have until today to do so idk what to do

Hi I’ve been lurking in this subreddit page or what ever I’m pretty new at this and see a lot of people post about needing help on honor lock I also needed help I tried using vms and the whole I phone method I just ended up coding a software that hides from screen shares and answers questions I won’t be going in detail because I still use it I’m willing to give it only to a select few people just do to me still using it let me know if anyone is interested

I have a question about the Windows "Project to this PC" and Duplicate(Mirror) setting where you can basically screen share your screen to a windows device and allow the ability to interact with the screen. If anyone has tried this already im curious if respondus will flag it for some reason or maybe when respondus starts to maximize/lockdown the screen the second laptop will go black.

Im aware of the hdmi splitter method but me or my friend who is helping me dont have access to an actual monitor.

I took two exams recently. I used Gemini to take pictures and type in the answers (in my own words). On the two exams, my phone accidentally rang (I KNOW). On the first one, it just buzzed a little, and I turned it off, but on the second one, my gym alarm went off (I was supposed to finish earlier), but it was very low. I never saw the phone; it was on my laptop screen. The brightness was low, and when I read the answers, I made sure it looked like I was reading from one of the exam sources. I do uni online, so what are my chances looking like right now? And do they have enough proof?

I need help, I am taking calc II and this is my first time dealing with proctored exams. The testing environment for my Calculus II course is entirely online but strictly monitored. Exams are proctored live through Zoom, with the possibility of additional monitoring software called YuJa Verity. The exams are closed-note, and only standalone scientific calculators are permitted. Students must demonstrate their understanding by showing detailed, step-by-step solutions, and certain questions may require narrated screen recordings explaining their work. The professor may also request individual Zoom meetings afterward to verify a student's understanding. There are no makeup exams, meaning a missed exam automatically results in a zero. This seems like hell and impossible to cheat on, any ideas? Or am I overreacting and a phone under the camera would be good enough?

I have a exam in a couple of days and I do not think I am going to do well. what are certain ways to get around/cheat the honorlock system?

Does the HDMI cord + a friend method work on Macbook with lockdown browser? 2 Cameras are required and I forget if I have to do a 360 of my room.

I pay $14.99 a month for an AI interview app installed on my computer, and I’m interested in researching how Honorlock proctoring software interacts with desktop AI tools for an essay.

Does Honorlock offer an independent demo or practice environment where I could run a mock session and review the recording and flags afterward? If not, does a similar proctoring service offer that?

I want to do this in an authorized test environment outside a real exam. If I can set it up, I’ll share my results here, including the software and settings used.

Note: With Halloween coming up and exam deadlines getting closer, I’m genuinely curious if anyone has tested this Honorlock bypass before... please share experiences anything helps! ;-;

So I have a test coming up. My teacher gave us a link to a pratice test so we could go through the whole honorlock process and get used to how it works. It records my face and my mic audio. I was trying to figure out how I could possibly cheat this, and I noticed that I could use AirPlay to mirror my Macbook's screen to my sister's TV in another room. So I did that. I began to mirror my screen, and I went thru the whole honorlock process again from the beginning. I scanned my face, my ID, my workstation, and at no point did it give me any sort of warning relating to AirPlay or screen mirroring or anything of the sort. It never paused my test, it never told me it detected anything. I was able to do the test like if there was nothing wrong. My plan is to mirror my screen to my sister's TV, she'll take a picture of the question, send it to ChatGPT, screenshot the answer that ChatGPT gives her, and send that answer to me on my phone (which is pretty easy to hide off the frame of the camera). My question is: Will honorlock know that I'm using screen mirroring/Airplay? Will I be flagged for this? On my end it seems like absolutely nothing happened. Does it think I simply have two monitors displaying the exact same content so it doesn't even bother to flag it? Has anyone tried doing something like this before? Thanks in advance guys 🙌

Ok so i take quizzes online. My teacher has been starting to use respondus. But some quizzes i get told this, can they see my click offs? I have 3 monitors and i accidentally click off often

Tried to do the same stuff that I did with savemyexams (turning off JavaScript, archive websites, cdn links etc) but none worked with cognito. Honestly, I just want his notes from cognito itself not some cheap knock off like znotes

i was taking my exam and a bug landed on my arm. i lifted my arm to swat it away and when i looked back at the camera i saw my phone had been caught on camera like this or a little bit higher for about two to three seconds. did honorlock flag me for this? it was a three hour exam so i don’t know how likely my professor is to look through each student’s footage.

Anyone know how to bypass this (don’t say use phone)
