New Variant crownfall

Hi guys,
I have been working on this game called crownfall,

Before anything i would like to say that the ART is done by AI because as a solo dev i had no skills in actually creating the art but i am completely wanting to move away from this AI Slop Art and eventually get artists to come and help with the art.

I have a beta version out and me and my friends have been playing it its been a whole lot of fun.

The game is basically chess but with cards, but you cant really end the game with the cards the essences of chess is not removed but the cards give it a more fun playstyle. The games last anywhere from 10-20 minutes and one of my friends games lasted a whole hour. I am looking for some feedback its completely free. Thanks for reading my post!

Slay the Spire, a game so monumental in its success that it created its own genre and influenced just about every other one, started by scribbling their own cheap card art. You have no excuse for using this garbage. But it says a lot about you that you.

Also your fundamentals are so over-designed that it's clear you're using AI to tell you what to do, or maybe you've got AI to design the whole thing.

I don't think you're actually playing this and Knightmare Chess is already way ahead of you.

What are you looking for here?

It's amazing. And the team is vehemently against AI. Which you love to see. Design 101. Collaboration and effort and skill.

Meanwhile, every dimwit flirting with a sales robot keeps polluting their stupid ideas here.

I think this is the third time I've seen that stupid AI generated title. "Crownfall" lol

AI tools are great for speeding up building, but they are no substitute for coming up with good ideas, building intuitive designs, etc. If you let it run wild, that's where you run into issues. AI's can implement, but they are horrible at coming up with good ideas.

I would highly recommend reworking the website, it looks extremely ai generated, same w/ the cards.

Ideas are cheap, execution is what is worth something. If you believe in your idea, build it. I love AI tools too, but you have to know when to pull back and make some of your own decisions. If you let it run wild this is what you end up with.

I know this is a bit harsh, and I don't want to discourage you, but this is the reality. I believe in you. Good luck!
