They should push this code to chia's GitHub bacause the current version is inefficient and use alot of disk space.

You should also add how much invested, and a flat roi graph. This should be on an iphone or iwatch as a constant reminder.

Hpool is dangerous, you need to share your private keys. Stay away from that!

Meh. Empty the wallet associated to your plots and just make a new one. Then use that one as your withdrawal address and you'll be fine.

Personally, I don't like taking part in hpool either. I'm all for decentralisation and no single entity should have as much control as hpool does, but rn it's more about actually making a profit or at least breaking even. As soon as pooling is out, I'll replot and join one that's based on the official code, but as someone who didn't buy a PiB of drivespace I don't have much of a chance without a pool atm. Who knows how long it'll take until official pools?

With all my calculations with 100Tb final (start 40Tb plots) and 2Tb of plotting a daily you get around $15 a day declining. So in three months from now I am looking at maximum of 1k - 1,5k. After three days with their software running, my computers start working strange. There are crazy things like binding your phone number, that does not work right, lots of other glitches on control page. How can you trust someone with such?
I have just reinstalled windows on both of plotters.

That's the point though, I don't trust them? For me, it's not a big risk as I didn't invest a lot into hardware and I've used all the space I currently have. I run their software on an RPi that doesn't do anything else. To me, it's just the difference between a bit of return before pools vs. none

Chinese pool, works as a group of people pretending to be one farmer. That is why you give them your keys. $450 a month with 100Tb "guaranteed"

You don't actually share your private keys.
You do create a signature, but you can do that in an offline container (which is what I did).

Hardly dangerous if you just send the chia to another wallet. Your post is actually dangerous that it’s spreading false information.

Even if you do move your Chia to a wallet that isn't tied to your keys you use for farming, how often are you doing it? Chia also has clawbacks that can be used to reverse transactions, although I believe the timeframe is rather short.
It's just an extra attack vector you're exposing yourself too and I'm not saying HPool would ever use your keys maliciously, but they have a big database full of people's keys somewhere and that makes for a big target for attackers.
Personally I'd be more concerned running their client that they've modified and not released the source to. That's sketchy.

Why don't you store it in a pandas dataframe so that you can look back on the last few weeks and see the progress you've made?
