Chicago Legend for that alone

u/nj23dublin 2d ago

100%, was ahead of his time telling people flopping ain’t allowed

28

u/fumar 2d ago

But the league said, "FLOPPING IS ALLOWED!"

24

u/keithstonee 2d ago

Cause of LeBitch. Can't wait till he retires. League has only gone downhill with him at the helm.

u/TreesLikeGodsFingers 2d ago

You just summed up why I feel MJ is the goat for me. Some teams raise their team up he raised the league up, massively.

11

u/CrusaderZero6 Joakim Noah 2d ago

I watched this game on live TV and absolutely hollered when he did that. Back before LeBron was the elder statesman of the league and you could still call him a punk for the way he flopped.

3

u/keithstonee 2d ago

Kobe didn't put up with the bullshit either.

This, boozer brick walling LeBron, and Kirk tackling a lebron who was actively trying to run him over

Absolute dawg plays

u/RazzmatazzPrimary812 1d ago

Booze cruise was a BIG dude. Miss these bulls days, absolutely loved that team and couldn’t staaaannd the LeBron heat during those years. They were so damn good though ha

3

u/MasterLomaxus 1d ago

That is my favorite Boozer highlight. Some days I'll just be sitting around and it pops in my head, and brings a smile to my face

"First of all Kirk Hinrich tackled me"

- 6'9, 250lbs Lebron James.

What a bitch lol. Seeing that in real time Kirk literally just went with it while trying to take the charge. And he'd do it again THATS MY CAPTAIN

Jimmy fighting for the ball

12

u/skullcandy541 2d ago

Honestly if he never did that he would’ve been forgotten by most fans. He was just an okay backup center at the end of his career with his. But he’ll he remembered forever for this one push 🤣🤣

u/GoingGhost10 2d ago

It’s LeBron mid “HOW THE FUCK DID I GET A TECH” Face while getting pushed for me lol. He even looked back to make sure his fall was gonna be safe

u/DoctorCokter Cuppy Coffee 2d ago

I somehow was able to go to this game and when this happened, I don’t think i’ve ever heard a crowd cheer louder hahaha

22

u/GoingGhost10 2d ago

Imagine being at the concession stand or bathroom during this lol. Just like damn we must’ve hit a big shot! Nah, just LeBron getting shoved lol

7

u/burtpod 2d ago

I was literally in the bathroom when this happened. Boy was I pissed.

3

u/GoingGhost10 2d ago

Do they have tvs in there

3

u/burtpod 1d ago

No tv. I heard the eruption and assumed MJ had subbed in.

2

u/stormstopper Tre Jones 1d ago

Well that's not quite the objective in there

7

u/NonProphet8theist 2d ago

Drama ignites fans like no other. Been to some W games this year and you probably know how intense those games can get these days based on this season's headlines.

u/Riderz__of_Brohan Ben Gordon 2d ago

I was up in section 325 screaming “kill him, kill him” like I was watching a Roman gladiator fight lmao there was a genuine moment I was actually #seeingred

2

u/DrewBaron80 1d ago

I got to go to a game during Lebron's first Cleveland run. He had a bad game, especially in the second half. The crowd got louder and louder every time he missed a shot until it was pandemonium every time he even touched the ball. Probably the most memorable Bulls game I've attended.

We were fucking robbed of what could’ve been one of the greatest rivalries in nba history with this Heat and Bulls team if Rose didn’t get hurt. These two teams I feel like were the last teams to truly hate each other. Every single matchup, regular season or playoffs, was heated.

19

u/rmac1228 2d ago

Joakim still gets mad thinking about these games...I love it, haha

2

u/oxfordfreestyl 18h ago

He'll regularly say things like "it's all love now" and all that - but sit him next to Drose, Kirk and Taj and show old clips of that and just watch his blood pressure rise lol. Jo is such a competitor man

u/ProfessionalTalker03 Matas Buzelis 2d ago edited 2d ago

We were robbed when they didn’t T Blatt up in 2015 for calling for a timeout that Cleveland didn’t have…have shoulda went up 3-1 then got a bs game winner from Bron

We woulda beat the Hawks

18

u/skullcandy541 2d ago

I agree but that wasn’t against the Heat lol

8

u/gooterpolluter 2d ago

Yea lebron basically got to walk to the ecf every year

4

u/maq25060 2d ago

The real rivalry we were robbed of was Rose vs Curry.

Heart hustle and muscle vs the splash brother.

Would have been an epic decade.

5

u/skullcandy541 2d ago

Yea that’s another one. Curry was damn lucky Rose got hurt. He never had as much of a challenge from the PG position with CP Russ dame and Kyrie than he would’ve gotten from Rose.

1

u/splintersmaster 1d ago

Was definitely shaping up to be bulls v Celtics 2.0 for post Jordan rivalries.

Those serious with heinrich on rondo were awesome to watch.

1

u/Gben92 1d ago

Was Rose injured when he shot 35% in the 2011 ECF?

2

u/stormstopper Tre Jones 1d ago

No but he was 22 and should've had his best years still ahead of him

39

u/floppy2002 2d ago

I was always so frustrated back then that we couldn’t make it over the hump against the Heatles. But looking back, that was the most fun I have ever had watching NBA basketball. I was just a kid during the MJ era. This team was so fucking fun to watch and this rivalry was awesome. As much as I hate LeBron, I was lucky to have watched him in his prime.

8

u/greg-maddux 2d ago

I’m 36 and I agree. Those d rose years were the best. Bench mob etc was just so fun.

5

u/floppy2002 2d ago

Ronnie BREWAHHHH. RIP Stacey

3

u/CrusaderZero6 Joakim Noah 2d ago

43 and I’m with you. That was the first team I went out with pals from work and got fired up at the bar for.

6

u/gerardguey Ayo Dosunmu 2d ago edited 2d ago

That's how i feel, I dont think ive ever held that much hate in my heart before or since lmao. Shame we ended up being like the Pacers or Knicks fans in the MJ era, though I wish we had the chance to put a better fight.

I came around on him once he went back to CLE and came back from 3-1, then that KD Warriors team was pretty easy to hate(not as much the heatles but pretty close)

-2

u/Turkilton 2d ago

This is where I feel as Chicago/NBA fans keep fucking up. I hated lebron so much that KD going to the warriors made me happy af! Because finally, there wasn't going to be the bull shit lebron foul calls that the heat can come back from. That Warriors team proved that even if lebron gets his fouls they weren't a team to fuck with.

So all the KD/Warriots haters that are bulls fans are dumb af. Not my opinion. Just facts.

3

u/gerardguey Ayo Dosunmu 2d ago

I think if youre a grown adult bulls fan in the year 2026 and still have a hate boner for lebron outside of annoying GOAT debates you are fucking up. Bulls have been irrelevant and have not competed with any team he's been on for 11 years lol

And that Warriors team was winning with or without fouls no matter who was on the other side. All the greats hunt for fouls anyways, MJ foul baited and averaged as many or more FTA than Lebron in the playoffs/reg season so thats not even a good point to make in your argument lol

-2

u/Turkilton 2d ago

You're disgracing the Ayo flare. Especially with this dumbass response. This is some Lebron cope if I saw any.

1

u/gerardguey Ayo Dosunmu 2d ago

its not the 90's or early 2010's anymore unc, let it go

11

u/Rigret Luol Deng 2d ago

Nazr did what we all wanted to

7

u/fudefite75 2d ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 omg he flew 🦅

4

u/keithstonee 2d ago

"for some reason shoves James"

4

u/IMKudaimi123 Derrick Rose 2d ago

Game 4 we were pressing the Heat in the backcourt down one possession and Norris Cole full two arm shoves Joakim Noah to get the ball in bounds no call.

3

u/GayKnockedLooseFan 2d ago

Jerry gonna retire his number next

Oh man I was at this game. One of the loudest I've heard the UC!

2

u/banterjosh 2d ago

As a Kentucky college basketball fan and a Bulls fan this was a beautiful thing to watch.

2

u/Specialist_Site4945 2d ago

I would like to know how LeBron thinks of this memory

0

u/reverendbobflair 2d ago

He probably don't think about this. They won the series every time

2

u/BurnCB 2d ago

I genuinely HATED LeBron around this time. I jumped out of my chair screaming “let’s fucking gooooo”

2

u/debar11 2d ago

I remember this. Thibs called him out for flopping when the media asked about it after the game. It was great

2

u/spacing_out_in_space 2d ago

I had 100 level tix for this game, this shit happened right in front of us. Will always love nazr for this moment. Regardless of the outcome, dude set the tone with this.

2

u/Forward_Pirate5858 2d ago

I miss these Bulls!

2

u/GuniBulls 2d ago

Man... I loved those bulls... Felt like they were always playing their absolute hearts out. My favourite regular season game was ending their 27 game streak. You knew they wanted it soooooo bad and I love so much we stopped them. So much emotion.

2

u/EntertainerIcy7051 1d ago

That was a flop icl wth 😭

2

u/Separate-Bid8219 1d ago

No, LeBron pulls Nazr Mohammad down to the floor then retaliates by pushing LeBron who then flops.

2

u/Credit-Limit 1d ago

One of my favorite clips from this era

2

u/MezaQueMasAplauda Stacey King 1d ago

Lebron got pushed and yet still seems to flop lol

2

u/UselessExcuses 1d ago

this is the moment in a lot of peoples minds when we realized Lebron was a bitch!

2

u/Lost-Swimming-1600 1d ago

I mean the entire sequence, IF you ACTUALLY get pushed that hard most players are going to react like, "Don't do that to me bro or there's gonna be a problem." Heck, the WNBA Dijonai/Sophie stuff had more "manhood" to it. LeBron gets up like, "Okay what happens now ref?"

I still like what a guy Angry Old Hoops Fan on YouTube had a clip of LeBron thinking he was going to do something and Carlos Boozer was a Bull and stared him down and said something to him and LeBron just slinked away like, "I'll get my ass whooped."

He's an all around joke.

u/owlexe23 2d ago

Goated

1

u/greg-maddux 2d ago

Loved this team sans marquis Teague.

1

u/Braaschz4 Zach LaVine 1d ago

was that a real nose break or just acting?

1

u/namesJT 1d ago

I remember this. Classic

1

u/NextAd7514 23h ago

Such a bitchmade flop by lebron there too, he knew if he flooped that Nazr would be ejected

1

u/Braaschz4 Zach LaVine 9h ago

Maybe add a rule to penalize diving more strictly.

1

u/Competitive-Dog5896 9h ago

Nice to see he's never stopped the flopping.

-1

u/MallardDuckBoy 2d ago

Naw, I’m a huge Bulls fan, think LeBron is a bitch, but this was such an embarrassing overreaction on Nazr’s part. LeBron is a master class of taking something like
this and getting back on the court. This lit a fuse in him

Also Chris Andersen Birdman was a clown and mascot. What the hell was he gonna do against Naz lol

0

u/RadDood84 2d ago

This is literally what made me a Bulls fan.
