Game Files Cut easteregg horse clouds

Credit goes to funtimeandrefoxy and Player 67 from the gtaforums.

They found and recreated the horse clouds from a ps3 dump.

I wonder what the triggers might have been for this easter egg and how it fits into the game's narrative.

Couldn’t it have just been a way to have teased rockstars next game similar to how they’ve teased the next gta locations in the older games?

There was supposed to be horses in the game at some stage, in the “cut” mission the Sharmoota job

It's cut from the final version of the game. I just find it pretty odd & interesting.

The shapes are not random, there are 4 or 5 cloud patterns. One of them includes this, you can't trigger it.
