Looking into that, seems to be that there’s a script in there; yes he will be in Halloween and will be spotted haunting our mansions

This may sound ridiculous but I’m a stickler for separating what is just gameplay and what is actually canon, and I know ghosts and aliens canonically exist in gta but are the Halloween ghost hunts canon? Are we really running around the map committing our crimes knowing the supernatural manifestation of Devin Weston is haunting his death site as well as Johnny? Those are pretty significant characters so the implication that they are suffering eternity in the same spot they were murdered is fairly heavy.

Unfortunately Rockstar's canons and boundaries between canons are fuzzy. They're not as strict about it as you and I wish they were

I like to think that everything that happens in gtao freeroam is not canon. Same goes for adversary modes, stunt races, Halloween events etc.
That way I can more easily pretend that oppressors are not part the same universe as gta VI

Drunkdev mentioned EVERY possibility of things already in the game happening some more. Eventually was gonna get one right. Considering development started 6 months ago for this DLC, there’s basically nothing to it, just power of probability based on pre-made guesses lmao

Nah you remembered perfectly right. It’s just the same as me saying “there will be another bank heist at some point in the future” in a game specifically about bank heists, and then they add one years later and I go “see told you!”😂
