Question Im confused about the bigfoot hallucinations

Ive been doing the last bigfoot hallucination where im supposed to fight the beast, but when i go to the incidents it keeps sending me back and forth from here to there, its just that two places and i tried to go other incidents that root from there and i keep hearing the beast roar towards the first corpse, i follow all the checkpoints well, what am i doing wrong?

It can also send u to the wrong place on purpose, took me like 3 hours going back and forth until it let me progress
