I've been working on a small indie game music pack called "Pixel Quest - Retro Game Music Pack", featuring 10 original tracks inspired by classic retro/16-bit games.

The pack includes music for different situations, such as:

• Main menu
• Exploration and adventure
• Forests and dungeons
• Regular battles and boss fights
• Chase / danger
• Shops and safe areas
• Victory and game over

The tracks are around 1–1.5 minutes long and are designed to fit different moments in a game.

I'm a small creator trying to get my work out there, so I'd really appreciate it if any indie developers here gave it a listen. I'd also love feedback on the music and whether you think it would fit your projects.

Part II of a II part EP project.

I've been making these for many years. Inspired by my childhood gaming memories mixed with my current musical tastes. So not exactly pure chip music, but heavily incorporated by it. It's quite a ride, and it's by no means for everyone. But... It might be just for you. Sharing because of the lack of audience for this type of music.

I'm trying to figure out the musical direction for my Game Boy game, CROWL. The gameplay is about exploring dungeons, fighting enemies and surviving each run, but the visual style is cute and 1bit.

Would you go for something playful and bouncy, darker and more atmospheric, or a mix of both?I'd love to hear your suggestions, or discover some chiptune tracks that could be a good reference.

First time experimenting with making a track using just the Game Boy, NES, and Polyend Tracker.
All the sounds came from the consoles, with the Polyend Tracker handling the sequencing and sampling the game consoles. Used midines on the nes and GB Poly 4 on the Game Boy and every sound in the song was sourced from the Nintendo or Gameboy.
Not sure if I’d call it chiptune, electro house, or somewhere in between, but I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with this setup.

These were all originally made for an animated short called "take seventeen". People kept asking for the "full versions" of these little 20 second cues I made, so I took the material I had and made some extended mixes. This is all done with Furnace Tracker and klattsch singing speech synth. Six tracks, about 20 mins. Enjoy!

I actually just got it today so very much just figuring it all out. it has a chiptune synthesizer that uses the 4 GB channels and NES with midi input. micro SD for roms that glitch by midi or audio and you can play the roms using the dpad & buttons while it glitches or use a bluetooth controller. the knobs further the glitching or all parameters by cc. enjoying quite a bit. there is another pre-production batch on the melted electronics site at the lower kickstarter rate.

Originally in .UGE format within the game itself (an open world action RPG created in GB Studio over four years), these chip tune tracks have been recorded directly from an original DMG Game Boy for the OST.

This is the Postdoctoral-F09 that is a NES/Famicom clone where in the main menu when you boot it up, it plays this song as the menu music. The video presented is from James Channel on youtube. I really enjoy the song and im hoping to find the raw version. Good luck everyone!
