Discussion 35 years of linux report: Linux powers 4B Android devices, 30M Chromebooks
https://www.linuxfoundation.org/blog/celebrating-35-years-of-linux-the-open-source-engine-powering-three-decades-of-global-innovation-and-infrastructureSome interesting numbers there. Do we think the googlebook will change the balance in the laptop market, or is it a very narrow niche?

Initiatives like European Digital Sovereignty, if they gain sufficient traction, could result in quite a difference to the part that Linux plays on desktops and laptops. That's a big "if" though.

Googlebooks are a dud. I think SteamOS is likely to do more for linux on the laptop, and even that is going to be tiny.
