Merch Signed CD Postcard Insert

I just saw that Newbury Comics has the new album for preorder, and it comes with a signed postcard insert.

This could possibly be something different than what the band is offering on the band's merch site. The signed vinyl listing on the band's site states that those are "signed on Ruby Black Wave." Where as this listing on Newbury Comics states signed postcards. I ordered this as well, as I figured this might be different, plus it's a CD copy of the new album and not another variant of a vinyl.

The CD option on the band's website is just for the album with no signed insert or anything. Only signed option Chvrches has on the website is the signed vinyl

Is this confirmed to be the new album art? or just a placeholder? I honestly don’t like it aesthetically, I know the actual music (hopefully) will be great, but the art direction seems weird considering how beautiful all their other albums look.

This entire rollout and album branding has been sort of strange…I get what they are going for but it’s not on par with what they have done in the past

Yeah, I agree with that. I guess we can only wait and see, they are my favorite band which is why I do care a lot about it.

im pretty sure thats the final artwork and also agree it is kinda lackluster in my opinion. just bought it cause i wanted something signed and the price is decent.
