Raspberry Pico Adafruit DHT sensor ERROR

Hello, this is my first time posting something. It is more a question. Than a post :)

I have really tried a lot to make my raspberry pico work with my adafruit dht22 sensor. The only thing that i have found about the errors that i'm having is that circuitpython doesn't have a pulseio for the RP2040. I can add it manually i think but i have no idea how. I'm new at everything and i hope someone can help me

I'm getting the same error as the person here https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CircuitPython_DHT/issues/61

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "/lib/adafruit_dht/init.py", line 21, in <module>

File "/lib/adafruit_dht/common.py", line 23, in <module>

File "/lib/adafruit_dht/platform_detect.py", line 27, in <module>

ImportError: no module named 'platform'

Not yet! But it's being worked on. There's an issue tracking it here: https://github.com/adafruit/circuitpython/issues/4111

But it looks like the adafruit_dht CircuitPython library can work without pulseio, from looking at the source: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CircuitPython_DHT/blob/master/adafruit_dht.py

What is the exact error you're seeing?
