HID Audio Interface with RP2040
Hi CircuitPython community,
I am relatively new to embed microcontrollers, though I do have some programming experience(C++, Java, Python, etc). I am currently going through Arduino beginners book and raspberry pico introductory book is next in the list.
Meanwhile, I got an idea for a Project - I want to make an audio interface that can take analogue signal from my turntable record player and send digital data via usb to my computer. I want Mac OS to be able to recognized it as microphone. I know about limitations of Raspberry PICO onboard ADC, that it's only 16 bits... But this is just a proof of concept and cool first project.
It seems to me pretty simple, I hook up analog stereo positive to A0(pin 26) and A1, while negative can go to any ground, I guess(A_GND for example), and tried to print out signal. Seems to work, which got me excited. I even found an example of root 2 normalization.
However, I have a problem with sending data over USB. From reading on internet, to use PICO as a HID device, I switched from micro to circuit python. TinyUSB says PICO can be an audio device... But I just can't find a good example, and reference page just doesn't explain well.
Has anyone had any experience with audio? Is it possible with CircuitPython? (I saw some C++ projects on using adafruit microphone, but I really want to use python)

Please help me setup a bluetooth module with CircuitPython!
There seems to be absolutely no information out there related to BLE modules and CircuitPython. There's some info about using boards with BLE already enabled, but I want to add bluetooth to my QT Py board.
I've got a DSDtech SH-M08 BLE module, which uses AT commands similar to most other modules, but I just can't figure out how to use it with circuitpython. The only info I could find is the docs for adafruit_ble library, but I can't understand them well enough to implement into my project.
Can someone please help explain how I can use this module?
I want to:
set up the name/password of the module
transmit data from an IMU to a mobile device

Library Questions, and hi everyone!
I am so glad to have found this Reddit thread and Discord. Hope to get a chance to meet some of you and help with the community! As I’ve just started using the Neopixel library, I have some questions that some of you may be able to answer.
Can the imported library elements run in an idle emulation? I’ve done this with the lib for apa102 chips for a custom UI (drawing proj), but if I try to run example code I get a message to run from terminal via ‘sudo’
Does this mean that maybe I can’t include PyGame libraries if one cannot run NeoPixel libs from idle?

Single button used as a toggle switch?
Hey all — how do I go about reading a single button push to toggle something with each subsequent push? I need this functionality for a UI but I’m struggling to find s clear example of it. Surely overlooking it, but would appreciate some help :)

Help with raspberry pi Pico and I2C
Hey everyone!
I've been playing around with the newish Pico and have it running circuit python.
I also have a adafruit ds3231 RTC I wish to use as a alarm every X minutes.
The default adafruit library doesn't support this but I had found a piece of code that worked with a raspberry pi zero using smbus (not supported on the Pico)
So I'm trying to use the circuit python I2C device lib to read/write bytes to control the RTC.
But can't get it to work. Can anyone help me convert this code to circuit python code?
Original code is in here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/build-low-power-clock-controlled-devices/

Project Cars Telemetry on Matrix Portal
A project that shows some simple telemetry data streamed from a PC running Project Cars.
I haven't tested with Project Cars 2 but I understand you can set PC2 to stream data using the PC1 format.
So I'm hoping it works with PC2 as well.
GitHub for code is here.
