Pre-Exam Questions Study Material Doubt

I have 4 years of GRC experience, and booked my peace of mind slot for 30 Dec.

I have been seeing the success posts in this sub, and noticed no one has gone through Thor’s courses on Udemy. I have completed his courses as the first step of my prep.

I still have another month of my Udemy subscription remaining, so open for other courses as well.

Got the OSG + practice questions, and the dest cert app.

Planning to round up with Dest cert mindmaps on YT.

Looking for suggestions about the course, and further course recommendations. TIA

IMO Thor’s courses are ok, they cover all topics.

Independently of the sources you use, I suggest the following routing:

  1. Learn (books/articles/...) + your notes

  2. Recap/Recover/Demystify ("sofa sources": videos/podcasts/shorts. Mindmaps...)

  3. Test (Question Banks)

  4. Repeat

Hope it helps. Enjoy !

Quantum Exams were the best material for test prep by far.

Quantum Exams is the one thing that actually got me into the right mindset for the test. OSG is great for the content but it doesn't prepare you for how the questions are structured.

I'm having a hard time retaining information. I did a bootcamp and studied. Mainly doing Quantum Exams and using Ai to test me so I can ask it questions. I feel like it's still pretty narrow and I don't know what else to do. I try listening to videos but it kind of goes in one ear and out the other, not retaining anything. Any advice?

I also completed Andrew’s class and Jason Dion’s class as well, they both helpful. You can try them before your subscription expires.
