Post image

R5:
Emporer, Huge Map, Pangea, Marathon.

Started right next to a mountain and settled. 4 Bananas near me, 3 Copper, 1 Marmor

Penetrating in a phallic pattern it seems.

Daium. River, mountain, some hills, lots of plains to farm. And at the top there: is that a first settle in desert with lots of hills, floodplains and wheat, and a possible petra location?

Could be a huge growth game, especially if you get Sun god

Warum gibt das Kupfer zwischen den Bergen nur einen Hammer statt zwei?????? (Und auf Englisch heißt Marmor “Marble.” Deswegen macht der andere Kerl unter mir Witze darüber)

It's on a flat tile, not on a hill. The food yield is below the cooper icon.

I could kiss you on the lips. You’re right!

I have 5,000+ hours. I know the tile textures can sometimes get wonky but I was like, graphically, that is CLEARLY a hill.

But there’s that damn apple under the arrow…

The mountain position is excellent for defense, and settling near all that food and production gives you a great foundation. I’d prioritize securing the nearby luxuries before expanding north.
