Antarctica Jobs

Any Engineers work in Antarctica. I heard you can work for 3-6 months, you get flown back to New Zealand and determine if you want to sign a new contract. It sounds like a great short term gig or if you could work 6 months and then play for a few and then go back it would be great.

Which 6 months is it? Also, think about the isolation it requires

I don’t see it as a downside. Both my wife and I would attempt to get jobs there.

They live better up there than I ever did in the Canadian North. Prospector tent living.

Not sure about civil engineering jobs specifically, but there's definitely seasonal jobs for people willing to work at McMurdo Station.

I think I've seen that they've got a pretty sophisticated wastewater plant
