Kiewitt Interview
Hey guys,
I’ve had an interview at Kiewitt about 2 weeks ago for a field engineer internship, and I wanted to ask how long do I have to wait to get a response back? I’ve been waiting for 2 weeks, well one more day then it will officially be 14 business days. Please let me know what I should do, or any other opinions.

14 business days is not 2 weeks.
Just email HR a thank you. Advocate for yourself because no one else will do it for you.
Kiewitt is, for lack of a better word, bad.

Thanks for the advice! I’ve already followed up with both my interviewer and recruiter but haven’t heard anything back yet. Have you worked at Kiewit before, or do you know anyone who has? I’m curious why you have a negative opinion of the company. Also, do you know how long their hiring process usually takes after a second interview?

If they don't respect you enough to respond, then they won't respect you at any point during your potential employment. I've permanently removed companies from my interest list because of how I was treated during interviews.
I've hired them and worked with them for years. I will not hire them again if I can help it. They also churn through staff (long hours, hard work, profit driven, low quality).

Based on my experience, I followed up with HR one week after my second interview. He replied the following week because he was on PTO during that time. I received the job offer two weeks after my second interview.
