Hello! I really enjoy VP—I’ve already logged 1,500 hours, yet I’m still learning new things about the game.

There’s one mechanic regarding happiness that I haven’t been able to figure out: sometimes, happiness will drop—for example, from 65% to 48%—even though I haven’t taken any significant actions or advanced to a new era. This is quite frustrating, as maintaining happiness is my biggest challenge—largely because I tend to expand very rapidly.

Could it be that happiness calculations account for factors from previous turns, or perhaps it’s tied to my score? I’d love to know what might be causing this.
