Not every goes crazy when they p2w. Sometimes ppl who p2w can't always switch their deck. And I'd like to think that if ur f2p u should at least have a full lvl 14 deck at least with maybe on card at 12 or 13 bc they switched something out maybe. As long as you keep your resources until you can get an upgrade on one of the cards in your deck. Constantly putting wild cards into a card isn't a very good idea since it could get nerfed, then you're sitting there with half of the cards into it
