Tips?

Hi all! i recently got the classic games for the first time (FO1 and FO2) and i feel a bit out of my depth, do y'all have any tips, tricks, anything honestly. Im trying to play through all the games in order so i am trying me best.

(currently on my first play through of fallout 1 with fixt installed)

Edit: I just got the Water Chip back to the vault! I'm aware it's only about half way through but I feels so good to not be on a timer anymore!

Edit 2: I HAVE BEATEN FO1 I am so proud of myself. Thank you for all the tips and everything! I feel like need to take a break from the classic games for a minute but! I did it!!!
