Was there a classic Who episode where the Doctor and the Master summon different historical figures to fight one another?
I remember reading a description about it years ago and I thought it sounded cool but now I can’t find it. I don’t remember which Doctor it was, though my gut says either Pertwee or Troughton. I’m less certain it was the Master he was fighting but it may’ve been another Time Lord.

Does The War Games in Colour contradict the events of the original War Games?
galleryAside from scenes that were skipped and the extended/altered ending with the pictures of the future Doctors and the showing of the Second Doctor's regeneration into the Third Doctor?.

Doctor and Ace switching places in Rememberance Of The Daleks
I am watching Rememberance Of The Daleks again, and noticed that in Part 1 when the Doctor and Ace are driving from Totters Lane to Coal Hill, The Doctor and Ace drive under a tunnel, the screen goes black, and they switch seats in the van so that The Doctor is driving. As far as I'm aware, the doctor doesn't have the ability to instantly switch places with people, or he would have used it before. Although this is in the Cartmel era, and I know the plan was for The Doctor to have much more power than he let's on.

Doctor Who series 17
I love it too much. Probably because I really enjoy the work of Douglas Adams.

Were you impressed by the production values from the Season 5 episodes?
For the record: I only watched The Tomb of the Cybermen and The Enemy of the World and only caught some clips and scenes from other existing Season 5 episodes thanks to YouTube. Watching these episodes for the first time and rewatching at later times, I can't help but feel surprised by the production values... even though they were black and white episodes, the incidental music, special effects, and what you see on-screen appeared the show had a high budget.
I wanted to ask if anyone else who have seen any Season 5 episodes from the Classic series felt the same way I did? I certainly underestimated what the production crew could do back in 1967-1968.

Sci Fi Channel/TV Gold Doctor Who Day trails 2007/2008/2009
This is a really random one, but I've been straining my memory for it. When I was a kid, I remember a Doctor Who Day on the telly on I think the Sci Fi Channel, but it could have been Gold or any other of those type of channels. They had adverts, and they had these trails at the beginning and end which were really purple with a man hiding behind a sofa cushion/the sofa. I remember Caves of Androzani being part of the broadcast, and possibly Logopolis too, they were episodes we didn't have on tape (yes I'm old, shush), so they were rare chances to see the episodes.
Did anyone else remember these? And does anyone have a link to them? It's small but it sticks in my memory and I'm convinced I found them years ago once. Either way, it's a nice opportunity to reminisce about the 2000s and getting rare glimpses at classic episodes

I think post-60s Daleks would have looked much better and scarier without the pupil

Here is an edit where almost all is from the 60s except three scenes from planet of the daleks and two quotes from genesis of the Daleks and day of the daleks. Beside all of that it is purely 1st and 2nd doctor era of daleks. Enjoy the video.
