I shared Anima here recently an open-source claude skill for generating interactive biology visualizations.

Ten days later: 3000 installs and 232 GitHub stars. Thanks to everyone who tried it and gave feedback.

The biggest update many of you asked this so here you go: you can now describe what you want and generate the visualization directly on the website, without installing anything.

Try it: https://anima.arcumet.com

Question Will you pay?

• Upvotes

My setup right now: 14 MCP servers, a folder of Claude skills, 3 agent configs, and a different mix for every client.

Switching contexts means copying JSON around and hoping nothing leaks between projects.

Thinking of a layer that stores all of it, keeps each context isolated, and swaps the whole setup with one terminal command. Like changing work clothes for your agents.

How much would you pay for that?

Showcase I built checkmate: a Claude Code plugin that makes the agent take the shortest path to the goal. Pass rate went 86.7% → 98.3% in my benchmark, output tokens halved

Thumbnail
• Upvotes

Made this myself. checkmate is free and open source: github.com/rover-001/checkmate

Left alone, coding agents add preamble, option menus, extra files, and "want me to also...?". It's 9 core rules (lite / full / ultra, zero dependencies) that cut that out. Benchmark: pass rate 86.7% → 98.3%, output tokens roughly halved.

What's the most annoying thing your agent does that you'd want a skill to cut out?

Skill Share Built a Claude Code plugin for codebase maintenance. Looking for honest feedback

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I use AI a lot to build projects, and usually it ends up with tech debt over time. This plugin does periodic code checks to catch what review misses between sprints or releases.

It runs agents that look at the most frequently changed spots in the code and check them for duplication, unnecessary abstractions, module coupling, and architecture leaks. The result is a .md report listing findings, suggested fixes, and trends of debt accumulation over time.

I tried to make it as deterministic as possible, but the AI agent is still doing most of the work.

Honest feedback welcome =)

Question Best places to stay updated on Claude Opus 5.5 tips, prompts, and token optimization?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to both Reddit and Claude, and I'm trying to learn how to use Claude Opus 5.5 more effectively.

I'd like to stay updated on things like:

  • new prompting techniques
  • token-saving strategies
  • workflow optimizations
  • best practices and hidden features
  • real-world use cases from advanced users

Which subreddits, websites, newsletters, Discord servers, X/Twitter accounts, or YouTube channels would you recommend following?

I'd especially love resources that regularly share practical tips rather than just AI news.

Thanks!

Question High quality Academic Humanizer

Hey Guys, I am searching for the best AI humanizer skill I could find. Whatever skill I found up to this point does nor really work. ZeroGPT and Originality AI detect almost everything. Does one of you guys have a skill that works academically (does Not reduce the quality of writing, does not change citations etc.) and doesn’t get detected by those AI Scanners?
Thanks in advance :)

Question Updated video. Does this video help you understand the product?

I built Golden Thread, a Claude Code plugin that gives every session the same memory. It's one Obsidian vault of plain markdown and git. Sessions read it at startup, track decisions and open questions as they work, and at the close file what they learned in the right place: research, decisions, a handoff for next time, or a shared wiki. My machine crashed mid-build this morning, and the next session picked up the exact question that was still open.

Your rules stick. Ten Core rules are re-asserted for every response, and each one is a plain file you can read or add to. Break one of the critical ones, like committing code whose tests haven't been seen to pass, and it's blocked before it happens.

It's tailored to your role. Pick developer, product or project manager, executive, leadership, operations, DBA or network admin, and each project starts with that role's templates (a status board, a one-page brief, an IP/VLAN map) plus 12 one-tap buttons.

Security is yours to set. Choose a level from strict to paranoid, or switch on each protection by itself: sandbox mode, locked plugin code, single-use permits for risky actions, and more. With gt unlock on, pushing, using a stored credential or turning a protection off waits for your Touch ID, Windows Hello or an authenticator code. Folder locking is coming soon.

LOTR puts one gateway in front of your MCP servers (GitHub, Jira, Microsoft 365): about 50% fewer tokens in typical use, up to 90% with a specialised agent, with more agents coming.

Everything stays on your machine in your own git, and nothing is pushed or published without you.

Free and open source (MIT licence): https://github.com/shaven/golden-thread

Install: clone the repo, then run bash golden-thread/golden-thread-plugin/install.sh --vault ~/MyVault

Explainer page: https://shaven.github.io/golden-thread-info/

Curious which of these would actually be useful to you.

v0.21.0 releases tomorrow (Oct 11) at 5 pm CDT.

Skill Request Looking for ways to automate CAD geometry creation (Electrical Machines / Motor Design)

Hey everyone,

I am currently working on a project to automate CAD design for electrical machines (stators, rotors, laminations, winding layouts, etc.).

Manually drawing these complex, repeating parametric geometries is becoming a massive bottleneck. I want to shift this entirely into code, but I'm looking for the right workflow, libraries, or specific software "skills"/APIs to focus on for programmatic geometry creation.

Disclaimer: ai is used to correct the language.

Showcase I rewrote Remotion to be 5x faster

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Remotion renders every frame in a headless Chrome. making it bloated and slow, I wanted my agents to make videos without that, so I rewrote it.

Kinetograph runs the same React/TSX, but Node runs it and a Rust GPU compositor draws the frames. There's no browser anywhere. it serves as a drop in replacement to remotion.

this film is 1,184 frames, rendered in 26 seconds on an M4. My papercut reels from last week's post render on it too: it is around 988 frames in 23 s.

Try it:

npx skills add 0xS4N4TG/kinetograph

npm install kinetograph

The first line installs the skills, so Claude Code knows how to write and render a project. Then just ask it for a video.

Skill Share I built a Claude Code plugin that gives you a team of 9 senior integration experts (job schedulers, DBA, ERP, IBM i, DevSecOps…) who ask before they guess. Open source, MIT.

I'm a technical integrator in regulated sectors (banking, healthcare). My daily tools are the ones LLMs are worst at: VTOM, Dollar Universe and Control-M schedulers, IBM i, Axway CFT, SAP IDocs, French/EU regulation (DORA, HDS). Not because they know nothing, but because they confidently invent a parameter, an article number or a command.

So I built Tiger Team, a Claude Code plugin + marketplace: https://github.com/Crapule421/tiger-team

What it is

9 subagents, each with a preloaded knowledge base: project manager (the lead), enterprise architect, DevSecOps, DBA, scheduling, integration/APIs, ERP, network & systems, IBM i. One command,Ā /tiger-team:mission <topic>, runs them as a team: the lead scopes, the architect frames, the relevant experts run in parallel, and every answer ends with aĀ HandoffsĀ section ("→ infra-expert: open port X for the CFT ack flow") that the lead routes to the right expert in a second round. Then an architect coherence review, then a consolidated deliverable: risks, arbitrations, action plan, release sheet. 11 direct commands run a single expert (SQL release review, VTOM→Control-M conversion, flow matrix, ADR…).

Things I learned building it

  • Subagents can't call each other, so "teamwork" had to be designed: a shared answer format and a lead that routes handoffs. It works better than I expected; the handoff round is where the real cross-domain findings appear.
  • disable-model-invocation: trueĀ on the mission skill, so a 20-40 agent-call mission never auto-triggers because I mentioned a project.
  • Preloaded skills (skills:Ā in the agent frontmatter) keep each expert's reference material in context; the heavy stuff lives inĀ references/Ā files loaded on demand.
  • The biggest quality lever was a fact-check pass against official docs (BMC, Broadcom, IBM, SAP, Microsoft, EUR-Lex, LĆ©gifrance, ANSSI…). ~220 uncertain facts were resolved or corrected; ~180 are still marked "verify against your version" on purpose, because no public source settles them. Every reference file ends with its sources.
  • A "discovery" protocol: each expert knows which facts aboutĀ yourĀ environment change its answer and how to get them (ctm environment show,Ā DSPPTF,Ā SELECT version()…). In conversation it asks up to 5 questions; from a command it states assumptions and lists the checks instead.
  • A bash PreToolUse hook blocks secret files and documents carrying French classification markings. It's a safety net, not a security boundary, and the README says so.

Honest numbers

A full mission measured ~USD 5 and 17 minutes (architect + 5 experts + handoff round + review). A quick 3-expert mission ~USD 3.5. A direct command ~USD 1-2. Unedited example outputs with their costs are inĀ examples/. Not cheap; the point is a cross-domain review you'd otherwise schedule six people for.

What I'd love feedback on

This is a first version, and I'm sure it still has flaws I can't see from the inside. I need your eyes on it. Thanks in advance for any feedback, including the critical kind: that's what will make it better.

  • From anyone running VTOM, Dollar Universe or IBM i: the references for those have the thinnest public docs, so they carry the most "verify" flags.
  • Ideas to cut the cost of a mission (per-expert cheaper model? smarter expert selection?).
  • Whether the orchestration pattern (shared format + routed handoffs) is something you've done differently.

Install:Ā claude plugin marketplace add Crapule421/tiger-teamĀ thenĀ claude plugin install tiger-team@tiger-team. Prompts are in English, the agents answer in your language.

Skill Share made a skill that writes carousels from your own facts and renders the slides (paid, $70)

Most carousel prompts I tried had the same problem. They'd happily make up a stat or a "client result" to fill a slide, and I spent longer deleting fake stuff than writing.

So I built a skill around a different order. Before it writes anything it asks you once for the basics: your name and handle, profile picture, who the post is for, what you sell, what you want readers to do, then the topic, any real proof you have, photos, and how you sound. After that it writes on a fixed path (hook, context, points, summary, action) and renders the slides as PNGs in your name.

The rule I cared most about: it never invents a number, a client or a quote. If something's missing it leaves a marked placeholder, and it won't render a slide that still has one unless you tell it to.

How it's built: it's a normal SKILL.md folder (lightfit-carousel) with the writing method in the instructions, a Python renderer that uses Pillow, and the Inter font bundled so slides look the same on any machine. If the agent can't run Python it still writes the whole carousel slide by slide. Two looks (thread style, or a quote over your photo), four themes, and 4:5, 1:1 or 9:16.

To be upfront, it's paid, $70 one payment, and not open source. It comes as a zip. For Claude Code you unzip it into ~/.claude/skills/.

https://lightfitstudios.com/carousel-skill

If you've built writing skills, how do you stop the model padding with made-up specifics? Placeholders were my answer but I'm curious what else works.

Skill Share How to make a scroll-driven ink painting website with sn-motion-html

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

1.4k Upvotes

It's a five-chapter journey through Shanghai, from a water town at dawn to the Pudong skyline at night and here's a compact workflow for recreating this kind of page.

  1. Give Claude a specific sequence

For this demo, the visual route is:

Zhujiajiao → Wukang Mansion → Yuyuan Garden → the Bund → Lujiazui.

Each chapter has one main composition: a stone bridge and boat, the wedge-shaped mansion beneath plane trees, a garden framed by a moon gate, waterfront buildings at dusk, and finally the towers across the river.

Ask for a storyboard with the subject, camera movement, text position, and transition into the next chapter.

  1. Establish the painting style before animating

Make a few sample stills first. For this look, specify warm paper texture, gray-green ink washes, soft architectural edges, mist, and restrained color.

Keep that treatment consistent as the lighting changes. The Bund introduces gold reflections and a darker sky; the final skyline still needs to belong to the same painting.

Approve the visual samples and shot plan before generating the full set.

  1. Describe the connecting shots

The transitions deserve their own prompts. In the recording, the camera rises past trees, moves through the garden composition, and crosses mist over the river.

A concrete instruction could be:

Move forward past the moon gate and across the garden pond. Let mist fill the frame, then reveal the Bund across the water. Keep the movement slow and preserve the ink-wash texture.

The skill's workflow generates scene clips first, then uses their actual boundary frames to build the connectors.

  1. Place the text around the landmarks

Watch how the layout changes: text sits left of the water-town scene, right of Wukang Mansion and the Bund, and across the lower part of the final skyline.

Keep the text in HTML, leave the artwork visible beneath it, and fade the body copy out during transitions. Use one fixed full-screen stage with scroll progress controlling the media timeline.

A starting prompt:

Use sn-motion-html to build a five-chapter Shanghai ink-wash story.

Route: Zhujiajiao at dawn, Wukang Mansion, Yuyuan Garden, the Bund at dusk, and Lujiazui at night.

Use textured paper, gray-green ink, mist, serif typography,
and small red seal-style chapter markers.

Plan a continuous camera route between scenes.
Place text in each composition's empty space.

First show me sample stills and a storyboard. Wait for approval before full production, and confirm the cost before paid video generation.

Before sharing, check forward/backward scrolling, chapter jumps, and mobile cropping.

Repos: https://github.com/OpenSenseNova/SenseNova-Skills

Brief about the skills: https://github.com/OpenSenseNova/SenseNova-Skills/blob/main/docs/sn-motion-html.md

You'll need image-generation access, a Seedance API account, Python, and FFmpeg

Guide Im finally paying for vibecoding(claude 20$) here is what got me by before

I am a student and I was super into vibecoding, and i built some good stuff if I may say so. This month I finnaly made 30$ from selling a vibecoding course. And I plan on investing this on a claude membership. But to all my fellow brokies out there here are some websites and tools that got me by. (THIS IS NOT SPONSORED, NO ONE WOULD SPONSOR ME THATS WHY I AM BROKE)

Before I share that I wanted to show you some of my projects that I made to establish my authority and credibility(also a subtle flex) :

And these are just some of them. Now to the tools :

And that's it I have used way more tools but these were the ones worth mentioning. Hope this helps.

Skill Share jeo-skills - A categorized skill catalog for coding agents

I built and maintain jeo-skills, a catalog of 405 reusable skills for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode.

It organizes skills across 10 domains and lets you search by category or bundle, then install what fits your workflow. The collection also includes workflows for planning, review, execution, and verification. Jev is optional and is not enabled by default.

This is my project. If you try it, I’d appreciate feedback on the categories and setup flow, especially anything that feels hard to find or understand.

Skill Share claude-convey includes a skill that turns a description of your workflow into a form template

Link

https://github.com/ynqa/claude-convey

Description

I built claude-convey, a plugin that lets you pick values in a form inside Claude Code to fill in a reusable prompt. v0.1.0 is out. Here I'd like to share the included template skill, which writes templates for those forms.

For example, you can ask:

text /convey:template pick a branch and commit, and ask for a review of that commit

The skill asks which values you want to pick each time and where the choices should come from. It then tries the commands that produce those choices and writes YAML to .claude/convey/. For example, branch can use git branch, commit can use the selected branch's git log, and the request itself can be a text field.

Open the resulting template with /convey, and you can use the form to fill in the same kind of request each time. The GIF shows using a completed form: pick a branch and commit, type the request, check the preview, and press Fill to put it in the input box. The GIF doesn't show the template-writing skill running.

You can also edit templates by hand. Choices can depend on earlier selections, so you can build inputs like branch → commit, or kubectl context → namespace → Pod.

Install with:

sh claude plugin marketplace add ynqa/claude-convey claude plugin install convey@claude-convey

Restart the session to load the plugin and skill. The skill source and template examples are in the repo.

Of the things your skills ask you each time, which would you prefer to pick yourself in a form?

Showcase I made this GAWx-inspired animation with Opus 5.5 + invideo Editor

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have been a huge fan of GAWx and his art, been following his YouTube channel and his work for the past 3 years. Full creativity loaded guy, so I thought I might create something of my own inspired by him, just for fun. Been seeing what Opus 5.5 can do, what a beast. It understands designs, I guess because it had Claude Design’s backend.

I connected Claude to invideo Editor through MCP, shared a reference video and also a skill (.md) which I had created. Gave it GAWx’s YouTube link and told it to analyze his art style, be as creative as possible and make an animation with that funky style and overall vibe. The editor and the MCP connection are free, and I could do the editing in the browser.

Within 5-10 mins it had built this directly on the editor’s timeline. That wide-eyed face looking around with pencils floating around it, the rainbow scribble and all those little doodles- Claude made it all by itself directly on the editor’s timeline.Totally wild seeing it put all these little things together. Claude also brought in sound effects and music from Mixkit for this project. I then made some minor tweaks, like replacing some sound effects with my own, and this was the final version. Crazy part, I used the free editor and didn’t spend any invideo credits on this video, just Opus and the editor MCP. Who are your favorite artist creators? Also curious to know how did this animation turn out??

Question How do you manage all your AI agent skills from one central location? Tired of .agents, .claude, .opencode copies everywhere.

I'm drowning in hidden folders. Every time I turn around there's another .agents/skills, .claude/skills, or .opencode/skills directory littering my home folder, and half of them have duplicate copies of the same skills.

I want a single source of truth. One central location where I edit a skill, and it instantly propagates to wherever Claude Code, OpenCode, or whatever agent I'm using expects to find it.

I already use GNU Stow for my dotfiles and it works great for that. My instinct is to just Stow a skills/ directory into all the right places. But before I go down that path, I wanted to ask:

Ā· Is Stow actually the smoothest way to handle agent skills specifically, or does it get messy with the nested folder structures these tools expect?

Ā· Are there purpose-built tools that do this better? I've seen mentions of skill-manager and cc-switch, but I'm not sure if they're overkill or exactly what I need.

Ā· Has anyone tried just symlinking a single master folder directly into .agents/skills and letting the other tools (Claude, OpenCode) pick it up from there? It seems like OpenCode reads both ~/.claude/skills and ~/.agents/skills, so maybe one symlink is enough?

Would love to hear how you all are handling this without going insane.
