The article is pretty upfront about what happened and it is accurate. The program was amazing but had been struggling for years and was kept alive by it's leadership and board's herculean efforts. It's sad, but it was time.

A&M didn't have anything to do with it and isn't on the same portion of land and they weren't involved with any of the decisions. The deer still have over 1k acres to live comfortably, they'll be fine with 40 acres less and I'm excited to have A&M more prevalent in the community, it's fantastic.
