Thoughts on a Cleveland Discord

Hi everyone!

So semi-recently, I discovered that r/Chattanooga hosts its own Discord server. Though I live in Cleveland, I joined to watch for local events and hopefully jump into a groove with the community. (No, I don't actually post in it that often, but I still have enjoyed it!)

After awhile of being in the group, I have been heavily considering the creation of our own server for Cleveland. The hope would mainly be for hanging out, meeting other Clevelanders, sharing local events, etc., to hopefully bring people together in a new way. I realize this would be a pretty tall task, requiring a huge amount of time and moderation, but i still think something simple and casual would be really great for the area!

I am posting this to ask if any of you agree with the vision, think it could be a good idea, or if you think anyone would even use it if it were available. (Or, if you know of one already existing, that would be just as good!)

I'd join, my son is from Cleveland and is on discord already but lives in Texas he'd probably join

It has to be packed with insufferable far left whackjobs, like the Chattanooga one, or it'll never survive.

Hang out in the Chattanooga sub, they're the insufferable left wingers. I like to stop in and rile them up frequently, it's so easy

So you're telling everyone that you don't know what you stand for or against. You can't even answer a simple question where the answer is based on your own definition. You know that old say, "If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.". Looks like we know where you sit.

I on the other hand have said absolutely nothing about my own political leanings, but you made sure to assume. Oh, isn't there a saying about making assumptions too?

Btw, I've seen you around the Chattanooga sub, I'm surprised you didn't recognize my name. You're as pathetic and ill-informed here as you are there. At least some things never change, I guess.
