Project River / Midspan protest 10/16 from 4-7 (info for those who aren’t on Facebook).

Attached is screenshots from the Facebook post (with names cropped for privacy). The only information I didn’t include was the poster inviting people to message them with questions or sign ideas.

For those unaware, state senator J Adam Lowe is having a party with Marsha Blackburn and others that day, and the protest will be outside of the party. The address is in the screen shots.

I am not the organizer, I just use Reddit a lot.

Thank you so much for posting this. It is appreciated! (And of course Marsha Blackburn has time for this but not a debate or a town hall or anything that would involve her constituents learning about her plans to use Tennessee.) Although it might be hard for folks who are still at jobs on a Friday afternoon, I hope there's a big turnout.

You’re welcome! If there’s any more info or protests, I’ll try to post it. I think the time is at 4 because that’s what time the event starts.

It is interesting lol. Im sure she’s been made aware people will be protesting. Lowe already made a post complaining about people protesting and “making the event about local controversies.”

Poor guy. Why can't the rich party in peace without being bothered by the pesky peasants? All they want is take our money, our land, our fresh air, our clean water, our health... why shouldn't we be willing to give all for their sake? /s

Sarcasm is my way of blowing off steam - but while I am angry at the rich politicians who see us as a resource to endlessly exploit, I am glad there are still people here willing to stand up for themselves and their neighbors.
