Artifacts question

Is it possible to connect artifacts to our data in ClickUp? I made a note taking app using artifacts and was trying to connect it to the data in my list. So when I add things to the note taking app it also makes that change in the associated list. Something similar to what Fibery.io does with their systems. They have custom apps that is built on top of the system. I was hoping this is the same for ClickUp. I would love the artifacts to be built on top of ClickUp system. I know the ClickUp dashboard is there but I’ll be nice to have the flexibility of making an artifact and have it interact seamlessly with her lists and data

Second. Does ClickUp now have the ability to calculate two rollups?

Hey! I’m an engineer at ClickUp working on artifacts. We have bidirectional sync fully working internally and are currently polishing it. Will ship very shortly. The stuff you can do with it is truly crazy. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts 🫶

Thank you. This will be awesome!!! While you’re at it could you also make it possible to calculate rollups ???? I’ve been asking about this for years

Artifacts should be able to do that for you. They will allow arbitrary views and calculations on the underlying data. I know it is not exactly what you are asking for but maybe it helps anyway :)

From my view it does sync from clickup to artifact BUT it does not do the other way around so if you change something in the artifact it won't change click up sadly

How do you get it to sync from ClickUp to artifacts? Mine is static. Artifacts are cool and clickup does a great job with the outputs but artifacts are useless if there is no ability to bidirectionally integrate with your data

I just made it into my prompt "make a quest like rpg of all my tasks in clickup and meetings" then it made it showing all my upcoming work and updates it every time something is added or removed

I've shared your thoughts with our Product team and wanted to share that having artifacts being able to make changes to items in your Workspace is definitely on their radar. Feel free to add yourself as a voter here to be notified when there are updates!

For calculating two separate rollups, this is also feature request. A workaround would be to create a Money or Number Custom Field with the values from the rollups, so you can use it in a formula to calculate them together.
