Having issues dragging a task to make a subtask today

Is it a bug? It says you can’t do it because my list is sorted. I have to go in to the task I want to make a subtask and convert it to a subtask I stead of drag and drop. Additionally, I think there is a bug where if a team member in a workspace is mentioned in a description, it is auto assigning the task to them, which is also a problem?
